Nolan was trying to run a hybrid of the 4-3/3-4. Frankly I don't care what system they run but I do know one thing when you are giving up an avg of 158 yards a game in rushing you better find a way to shut that run down. Teams do not have to risk ints when they can run the ball at will. Hell Cleveland put up over 300 yards rushing on the Cowboys.

We were told last year 100 times we were a 4 man DL then they tried to force a3-4 techniques with 2 gaps and stand up ends.
That bombed and they kept telling us, oh no, we are a 4 down team.
Until Jerry spoke up about firing Nolan and they went 4-3 exclusively the last 5-6 weeks.

We played a 4-3 with Donovan Wilson as the 4-3 Will.
Thats rather how you play 4-3 today.
