Henry is on another level. Generational talent, at this pace, going to be mentioned among guys like Dickerson and Emmitt. My point is that Zeke wasn’t wasting anything his first three years here. It was the QB that was wasting our team. When Zeke got suspended for six games, Dak was a train wreck.

What do you think would have happened if we drafted Paxton Lynch. I think he would have actually been good for us.

Romo was my favorite player, but availability is what killed his career. He’s way better QB than Dak, but Dak has skills too, and arguably the best leader around here since Irvin.

I don’t think it was availability, more so Jerry wasting it with Garrett as play caller, the guy who couldn’t stop a zone blitz to save his life. Romo got battered with this ‘genius’ not calling a single 3 WR set from 2008-2012 under center, while the whole league was doing it. The reality is, Romo deserved his shot with this team period, especially with Garrett out of his way.

I don't disagree, but Donald is a much more acclaimed player than Goff, so it's surprising he didn't do much against them no matter how bad the Patriots offense looked. But yeah, it's hard to outwit Belichick, but there's no excuse for disappearing again today.

Big Mike sucks. He has no excuses. Jason freaking Garrett did better than him the year before with even worse defensive pieces (an under performing D-Law, no Diggs, same CB’s). Big Mike and Nolan just suck and Quinn sucks less, but still sucks.

Yes they sucked with Nolan as DC. And that is on MM for bring him in. But also injuries played into it as well, and other factors. however that was corrected, and Nolan is gone. But yet you will find a way to turn that into a negative.

I haven’t seen enough of him to make any decision. I mean I haven’t been impressed with any young gun, outside Mahomes. I think Watson has the tools based on what I’ve seen, where if he has reasonable talent around him, he can really shine. Goff to me is like Dak, both heavy play-action QBs that aren’t progression QBs, dependent on the system.

In the end, the QB is the most impactful player on any team. If he sucks, the defense is rarely ever going to win, because they’ll get worn out having to keep coming back on the field. But Goff is actually playing well right now, so this situation you are correct AD is being stifled.
