Jaguars trade the 1st overall pick to the Houston Texans for QB Deshaun Watson.

Reason- Watson is unhappy and still one of the top rated QBs in the NFL. Get a known Pro Bowl QB who is only 25 years old or get a rookie in Lawrence




1-Texans- Trevor Lawrence QB Clemson


Reason- Watson trade hopefully start new and draw fans attention with Lawrence as the face of the franchise.





2- Jets-Zach Wilson QB BYU


Reason- Jets get a new head coach. Does he want to start with his own QB or would chance it with Sam Darnold who has regressed in 3 years? Jets pick their Golden Boy.

Dolphins trade this pick to Panthers receive Panthers 1st,3rd,and a 1st in 2022

3- Panthers- Mac Jones QB Alabama



Reason-Panthers have a tough decision. Is Teddy Bridgewater the QB to make them a playoff team and far in the playoffs or just a guy? Mac Jones coming off the National Title should persuade their decision.



4- Falcons- Justin Fields QB Ohio State.


Reason- Matt Ryan is 36 next season . Fields being a former Mr.Georgia will be a popular pick. 1st year as Ryan's understudy,then following as the starter.


5-Bengals- Penei Sewell OT Oregon


Reason- Some teams just get lucky. The Bengals still get the player they desired. Sewell starts Day 1 and will be the best OT they have had since HOFer Anthony Munoz

Reason- Eagles get their #1 WR in Chase.


7- Lions- Micah Parsons OLB Penn State


REASON- Starts Day 1 and becomes the Lions best player on defense.


8- Dolphins- Devonta Smith WR Alabama


Reason- Smith becomes the Star WR they missing.

Reason- Bolts got the Franchise for the next 10 years in Justin Herbert. Now get him some insurance on his backside in Darrishaw

Reason- Start off as the left guard and take over for Reilly Reiff as the left tackle in a year or two.

Reason- Niners are going to cut Jimmy G. over the cap,but Belechik hope's to be exclusive and get Jimmy G with whom he never wanted to part ways with can steer the Pat's to the top of the AFC East again.



15- 49ers- Alex Leatherwood OT Alabama



Reason- Trent William's came over in trade last year. The issue he is 33 next year and team trying to free up cap space might just let William's go

Reason- Cardinals pass rush became very anemic when Chandler Jones (31 next season) got hurt this last season. On top of that Hassan Reddick is a free agent. Paye joins Issiah Simmons as the edge rushers. Two freakish athletes coming for the other teams QB.



17-Raiders-Patrick Jones DE Pittsburgh



Reason- Raiders struggled getting sacks. Jones was the leaders in sacks all season.

Reason- Give new QB Watson a new toy to play with.

Reason- Commanders need to get a WR partner for McLauren and Terry has STAR potential.




20- Cowboys- Christian Barmore DT Alabama



Reason- Cowboys trade down and still fill a need with Barmore who is a load to move. Paired with Gallimore can become dominant duo in the trenches free up edge rushers and linebackers.

Reason- Comes in and replaces RG Glowinski.
Three top tech OG and Center. NELSON, KELLY, and now DAVIS.


22- Titans- Zaven Collins ILB Tulsa.



Reason- Can play OLB or ILB.. Has potential to become a star player.



23- Jets- Quincy Roche OLB Miami



Reason- Jets need a premiere pass rusher. Roche is one of the better ones in this draft.



24- Steelers- Trey Smith OT Tennessee



Reason- Left Tackle Villaneuva is 35 next season and also a free agent. Trey Smith is a mountain at 6-6,330 lbs but has good athletic ability to play OG if needed.



25- Dolphins-Travis Etienne RB Clemson


Reason- Phins get Tua a weapon in the backfield keep teams honest from just squaring up on him and the pass game.

Reason- Browns LBers need a special player. Cox has ability to be a special player.



27-Ravens- Nico Collins WR Michigan



Reason- Ravens need a big physical WR. If Collins had a better QB in college he might be mentioned by all the Draftniks. But Collins has talent to be a #1 WR in the NFL.

Reason- Becomes Wilson's signal caller on the o line.



29- Buccaneers- Tyson Campbell CB Georgia


Reason-- Buccaneers corners could improve and Campbell will test off the charts. I like him and Stokes the other corner at Georgia. I thought Stokes might be better,but as I watched it was Campbell facing the top players in matchups not Stokes.



30- Bills- Pat Friermuth TE Penn State


Reason- Another weapon for the Bills air attack.

Reason-Packers need more weapons in the passing game




32-Chiefs- Jayson Oweh DE Penn State


Reason- Freakish athlete who is raw but with right coaching and patience could be a stud.

I'd take ZCollins in that scenario. IMHO, we need to upgrade our LB's as much, if not more than we need to upgrade our 3T. I think Collins has a chance to be a great play maker.

Don't get me wrong, I like Barmore a lot and wouldn't mind drafting the kid. But I see him as another 3T, and I don't see him as the next Aaron Donald as some of ya'll seem to do. Maybe I'm wrong, only time will tell.
I don't see him as a true 1T, at least not the kind of run stuffer I'm looking for.

He'd probably be an upgrade over Gallimore, but I don't think it'd be a huge one. I think Gallimore has chance to be a good 3T this year, but he wouldn't keep me from drafting another one. I agree the 2 of them together sounds great, on passing downs. But what about on obvious running plays? Could they hold up against dbls inside? Would our LB's continue to be washed out of plays?

There are a few very good DT prospects like Onwuzurike, Tufele and Nixon that could be available at 45. Is Barmore better than all of them? Probably, but I don't see it has a huge difference that I wouldn't mind drafting any of these guys instead.
Plus there a few more good DT"s that could be available in rds 3 or 4, McNeil, Twyman, Wilson and Shelvin.

I'd have to ask myself, would any of the other LB's that may be available in the later rounds give us that kind of potential upside? vs. Are there other DT's that can be drafted later that can play well enough? I don't think so.
