49ers should jump all over this opportunity.
Great defense. Plenty of offensive weapons.

Colts are probably willing to overpay.

People are saying NE but there's not much talent
on the offensive side. I'd say no thanks.

Stafford is only 32. He could play another 8-10 years.

Brady he is not. He has been dealing with back injuries over the last 2 years plus. I think he may have 3 years left, tops.

Brother, we have to get Dak signed before the start of free agency. We need real defensive tackle. I don’t like Jessie Holley or Nate Newton but they made some good points on the Hangouts podcast.

I think we bring in some veterans inside and also draft at the position. There usually is a steep learning curve at the position learning all the techniques as they cannot just win with athleticism on the next level. I would temper our expectations with 1st yr players at the position.

As for Dak, I bet they are waiting on what the cap # will be next season before restarting the extension talks.

Always liked Stafford, guy can sling that ball like not many can. I can see him getting a ring if his body isn’t to far gone from the beatings he took in Detroit.

I think Indy is a perfect match up.
Strjng, young stud rb, good OL, strong defense.

His contract is only 23m per year for 2 years. Not sure if he wants an extension on top of that. Probably.
Indy can give up its 1st in the 20s no problem....

They did it for DeForest Buckner last year and he was sensational this season

If you're about to say he is an upgrade over Dak, you are wrong.

Wouldn't say he's an upgrade, but the two are in the same tier. Stafford's been stuck on a horrible team, with bad management, coaching and roster. It's similar to Watson in Houston.

The one thing that Dak has is better wheels.

But Stafford's affordable contract is going to make him *very* attractive to some teams, as Lions will likely absorb most or all of guaranteed money.

Stafford is better than people on this board give him credit for. That being said trading for him would be completely stupid.
Biggest problem with Stafford is he has back issues. We've seen that with Romo and it's not a fun season when every play of every game you have to cringe and watch closely how your QB is getting up off the ground.
