Ok sure bud. Franchise QB in the prime of his career, excellent winning record, setting passing records before freak injury.

The disrespect he gets around here is absurd. Some of you must have never lived through the likes of Chad Hutchinson and Clint Stoerner and Anthony Wright.

Yet his trophy case still has the same number of championships as the Detroit Lions. I don't care how great his stats look. I watch the game to see my team win games and hopefully championships, not QB's who are out to pad their personal stats. That only serves the individual.

Which we did, and now have. A quality QB is literally what we have right now, and you guys are too biased and blind to see it

Dak’s a good player.

The problem is money..

Or are you to biased and blind to look around the league and notice what’s going on?

What has Dak's record been since his 13-3 rookie season???? That's right, he is 29-24.....just barely above average. Yeah, setting passing records has really helped Dallas.

Good idea, take away his best season. Hey, if you take away the 90s, the Cowboys haven't won a super bowl for a really really long time!!

How many trophies does Stafford have?

In a move reminiscent of an NBA trade, LA just unloaded a big contract and, in doing so, raised the "trade bar" for others.

Can you say, Roy Williams or Joey Galloway trades?

If you want a quality QB, you have to pay them quality QB money

Point is he has not elevated the team since 2016 but in fact the team has only gotten worse while he pads his personal stats.....but you keep blindly loving your precious Dak and his only 1 good season in his 5 years as Dallas QB.

Bud, if you read like two posts up, I said I'd trade Dak for that kind of haul. He's not the be all, end all. He just so happens to be a franchise QB that we somehow lucked into and you idiots act like he's worse than Dalton.

And yes, he has absolutely elevated the team. Perhaps it's possible that the team has actually been not really that good?

Dak Record as Dallas QB by Year

2016: 13-3 0-1 in playoffs
2017: 9-7
2018: 10-6 1-1 in playoffs
2019: 8-8
2020: 2-3

Yeah, that is a lot of elevating going on right there.

This is what 99% of my posts are about. If we pay Dak who is an average QB this is our future. Goff, Wentz, Cousins, Bradford. Trade Dak to the Colts, Steelers, you name the team and sign Jameis or Darnold and draft a guy.
Do not spend 40 per year on a good QB.

Yes, let's get this Guy.

The same number as Dak?

Duhh that's the point. All of a sudden Dak isn't a franchise QB because he hasn't won a superbowl. But Stafford, with full five year head start, has actually achieved LESS than Dak. But sure, he's worth two firsts while Dak isn't worth 'a can of spam'

Man I wouldve loved to get that kind of haul for Dakota
He’s worth more if that’s staffords price. This is what I’ve been trying to tell people. He’s not going anywhere and we aren’t reading for anyone. If Jerry gave up 2 firsts and a third for Matt stafford this place would explode.

Any tangible proof of this? I mean the team under his leadership has been near 8-8 or worse.

I mean, the one time he was injured, our offense grinded to a halt and we endured the most embarrassing season since the one that led to us drafting Dak in the first place, so...
