Don't understand this line of thinking.

Basically, one of the reasons LA traded for Stafford is due to his very reasonable contract. Dak is being unreasonable in contract talks.

How do some people underrate contract amounts in trade value? It's huge.

Tad (A.K.A. Dak_Attack_09) is only concerned with his brother getting his big pay day. He doesn't care about anything other than that.

How do you imagine you will get him for less? Even the franchise tag amount is significantlly more than last year

I didn’t make a comment one way or another. I do find it interesting though that last year the Jones family didn’t want to give in with 11% more cap space and a healthy QB. So now they are going to go over $40 mil with less cap and coming off an injury? I want Dak signed. I’m a fan. But not sure the break the bank crowd is going to get what they want. I could see tag again or very creative capology

Tad wants a new car and a new crib. He's not going to stop posting this nonsense until after his check is in the mail.

My joke is more about the fact that there are a ton of Dak threads on all sides of the debate, and this debate has been raging on since Dak became the starter. There's only so many ways we can argue this, and we're just at the start of the Cowboys off-season. The Super Bowl hasn't even been played yet. It'd be nice to have something to argue about such as Zeke's weight.

Is Dak being unreasonable? Booger & Son kicked this can down the road while other teams extended their QBs. Then they insisted on a 5th year last summer, ended up having him play on the tag, and now he has all the leverage because they don't have a Plan B.

Jerry and Stephen screwed the pooch, again. Color me not surprised.

Only if the 175 mil offer was untrue.

Alright fellas Dak will make concession to stay around 41 million average per year and not go up to 45 million a year after the Stafford trade. The QB market is projected to go into 50 million after Watson trade and extension of Lamar & Allen by end of the year. Dak won Jerry and if you sign him he will reward the Dallas franchise with the 6th SB win.

I read your posts and I’m convinced that you are his brother Tad, who is more than a tad soft in the head

no Cowboys fan would be giddy and happy that we have to pay an average qb elite money

You want a decent starting QB in the NFL you gotta pay big money it is what it is

Matt Stafford has all of 0 playoff wins and hes been paid big boy bucks because without him the Lions probably dont win 10 games over 10 years

Jay Cutler got paid as well in his day.....So has Kirk Cousins

I love dak but a 45 mil a year player with the salary cap at 175 is too much

Dak is comparable to Goff , and has a shattered leg. Would be lucky to get a 1st at best. But if the Cowboys weren’t so dumb they’d be packing his bags now. His arrow is pointing down.

So the cap is going to decrease around 11% across the NFL from 2020 and we are going to put MORE into Dak than before? Interesting

Tampa was the smart team. They knew what they had in Winston and moved on after 5 years. Now they're back in the SB. The Ravens will pay Lamar because he keeps them relevant and making the team money. But no way the Ravens win a SB, or even reach a SB after Lamar exits his rookie contract.

The salary cap is probably not going to be $175 million. That was the floor of how low it could go but it will likely be in the 190's.

If we pay more than 34/yr for him then I feel bad for the fans. His price didn't go up. He's coming off a major injury, has consistency issues, and can't play 1 game at full pace.. he is a streaky QB with accuracy issues.

If we can build around him and let him guide the bus at a discount then great. If he wants to get paid like a top 5 QB who is capable of putting the team on his shoulders, then good riddance. He will never be a top 5.

even there your taking a quarter of the cap on one player....just seems too much doesn’t it?

I could see 35 to 37
