Some decent smaller CBs in this class with some being considered better for the Slot.
Could be a replacement for Lewis.

Kary Vincent JR
Asante Samuel...might be a great regular CB but his size might be better off as a Slot
Thomas Graham Jr - I think he might be a sleeper and depending on his actual size might be a slot
Shakur Brown same as others due to size

Elijah Molden - pretty good player. Some see him as a slot corner...some see him as a good player for the safety position.

I like Asante, Graham and Molden as a possible Slot CB for this team but I also kind of like Molden as a S.

Prefer to have Richie Grant at safety but Molden might be a guy that could help in both spots until they figure out a full time role. Hopefully quicker than they did with Jones.

Now a player who could be a safety or possibly a LB ..

Divine Deablo - Could be an in the box safety, could be a good blitzer in packages ala scandrick used to do ( yes I know he was a cb not a s)

He could also be a LB in dime packages if need be.

The guy is that tweener type of player that has some skills and is gifted but might not fit a specific role.
A Developmental player that could be taken later in the draft and while they figure out (if this team could figure these things out) where to play him he could be a special teams player.

This kid has good upside IMO.

Molden should be the Cowboys FS.

Dude can tackle and play well on the ball

I still think we roll with Surtain/Farley/Free agent on the outside and let Brown play in the slot.

But I’m a fan of most of the players listed. I really like Samuel. He has that toughness in him. Reminds me of Amik Robertson

If we have a secondary of diggs, wilson and 2 rookies who is the leader? Anybody can answer

Basically this little draft dream of getting a cb then a safety isnt smart. Just a bunch of rookies and second year guys running around lost lol. But I wouldn't put it past Jerry.
That’s my thought as well. I can’t see them drafting a corner and safety 1 and 2 this year and diggs on the other side in year two.

This defense lacks leadership. Offense has it with Dak and the oline. Defense has Jaylon and Dlaw

We need a leader safety and d tackle.

I rather draft a true safety, then a conversion, it's not an easy transition as many think. I don't see an issue taking a nickel corner if the board played out that way. Molden could be a good one, even wouldn't be opposed to taking Shawn Wade towards the end of day 2, early day 3. We know he sucked as an outside corner, but he was considered a 1st rd talent based on his slot play prior to this season.

Deablo is one of the pet cats. Would really like landing one of those hybrid S/LB's.

Exactly. The hot boyz shtick is played out and isn’t working. Time to move on from jaylon. Immediately.

Look Molden Jr Washington CB should be drafted by the Cowboys in the 3rd to play FS.
Seriously this guy has all the tools.

I like Samuel and Molden a lot. However, I don’t know if the Cowboys will feel that way because of their height. Plus, one of the few DB’s that they actually have under contract is Anthony Brown, who they like in the slot, which these guys probably would have to play.
