It will be interesting to compare this list to the one after the combine. There are always players at the combine who show something spectacular and then climb way up the board. If Surtain runs a 4.4 40 I think he moves up, maybe even ahead of Farley.

There is no combine this year. Expect to see crazy fast times at these so called pro days.

Farley / Surtain is a toss up to me.

Do you take the durable, fundamentally sound guy with a lower ceiling?

Or do you risk a chance on Farley? The less durable guy with a higher ceiling

What separates it for me is Farley's speed and ball skills. He is a player that always turns his head and plays the football. How many years have we seen our corners in perfect position, but can never locate the football.

Surprises to me - Surratt over Moses, McGrone, and Browning? I don't see that at all. Kelvin Joseph Kentucky CB as the 4th best CB? He's been my sleeper pick but I thought maybe the 4th or 5th round. Mel doesn't think so :(. I don't like the safety rankings either. Moehrig yes, but Holland, Hufanga, and Cisco over Grant? I like the players but disagree with that. Jaret Patterson is making my 10 running backs. Tony Poljan is making my 10 TEs.

I believe Dane had Surratt as a top 40 player. Would love to some those other safeties taken over Grant.

Joseph as the fourth corner is really interesting. At one time, Kiper was the ultimate outsider and often ranked players quite differently than did the clubs. Now he is the ultimate insider.

Kiper didn't suddenly fall in love with Joseph. He is hearing now what the clubs have known for some time. So Joseph is probably a late-first or second round player and a possibility for Dallas if corner isn't the first choice.

Its definitely gonna come down to preference of who is making the call for sure.

I wonder if Farley not playing this year will make him drop.

I dunno....I see solid corner in Surtain, but possible playmaking ball hawk guy in Farley.

Its gonna be close if either is around at 10. Long way to go though.

I hear you. Typically anyway.

I don't like the league of taking a corner early with today's rules stacked against them, but this draft just falls that way.

Need and availability in this draft is a near total mismatch, depth at OT being the only saving grace IMO.

The team should probably focus on securing one of the top safeties, but I doubt that suddenly becomes a priority in that building.
