At 12:00 min mark interesting how NFL Executives polled say there is 0 chance Dak is long-term in Dallas.

Once again, Pappy, you leave out the whole context and true meaning of this video.

Everyone should pay attention starting from the 2:25 mark through the 4:25 mark. Tells you all you need to know. Dak is the best option. Anything else will give you worst results. The only problem right now is the price Dak is demanding since Jerry made the mistake of way overpaying Zeke, Tank, Jaylon and a few others who have not lived up to their overpaid new contracts.

I agree AC, Dak is the best option for now, but the problem is the price, like you said. I think Dak figures he's got Jerry over a barrel and he intends to milk that cow for all it's worth.
If it was me I'd tag him 1 more year while looking for a replacement unless Dak decides to deal in a more team friendly fashion.

It’s funny how Shannon Sharpe, who hates the Cowboys and calls Dak’s passing game, “Dinkin and Dakin “ thinks Dak is worth 40 million a season. Then you have Skip who says the Cowboys should have brought in Brady and let Dak go last season. Brady would never get along with the Joneses so that dream would be a nightmare. I am starting to wonder if these guys look at Cowboys Zone before their show starts.

Its sad that we have grown *** men who are yet to figure out that guys like Skip, Steven A, Shannon, Nick ect are paid to play a role and act. They talk non stop cowboys and need to take positions to develop a character.

And we have some goofballs actually getting sucked in by these guys. Posting videos like it validates their own personal opinion.

The OP wants to be the cowboyszone version of Skip or Steven A.

Its going to be a long offseason.

Bingo.

Good guy - Bad guy routine. Rinse and repeat.

Remember a ways back when Skip hated Dallas. Tony “Romeo” and Team Obliterator

funny stuff there. Now pappy and captain crunch and all the other haters are resorting to using Skip Bayless for their Dak hate arguments. Quite amusing actually.

You know what is funny. I am hearing the 2022 cap will have a huge salary cap increase because of the extra game and the new television contract. Even though Dak’s cap hit will be over 50 million on the tag it will actually be cheaper to tag him next season then this season. My point is the Cowboys do not have to sign Dak to a long term contract. Dak will still get paid on the franchise tag and be happy. My point is Dak will be here at least two more seasons.

Obviously the Cowboys have seen something they aren't fond of. Maybe his ankle, maybe his late (behind targets) throws down the middle. Who knows but there's a weird smell a foot

I agree. It is clear the Cowboys front office is not completely sold on Dak or they would have hammered out a deal already. Maybe this is what Dak senses too and this is why he is not signing. I don't think it's his ankle because I think the Cowboys' doubt has been there for a couple of years. I still think 2020 was going to be the year when the Joneses made up their mind about Dak. 2019 was a mixed bag for Dak and left them with doubts. I think they were hoping to see a full season of Dak in 2020 and if the played consistently the entire season they pay him whatever, and if he was inconsistent again, the go in a different direction. I firmly believe that week 16 game against the Eagles last year left a very bad taste in their mouths.
