First let me preface this by saying. I know the Jones' dont like to spend. But I have a feeling this season will be different (I know, I know).
Dan Quinn is going to want to bring in his guys, or guys that fit his system. And I hope to GOD he has say in the Draft room because Rod missed out on some great players because of his "quick twitch" philosphy. So here I go.

FA
Richard Sherman-The veteran I want the most around Diggs and said drafted CB below. Knows Quinn's system.

Snacks Harrison-Can school another draftee below and will not cost much. Automatically helps the run game and the LBs

Malik Hooker-Cheap low risk high reward player that Stephen LOVES.

Here comes the draft.

10. Micah Parsons
LB-I dont want to hear about "off ball linebacker bla bla bla" This kid is a stud and we need TALENT on this side of the ball. Period. This kid graded out at 94.8 in run defense in 2019. Sound like someone we want to pass up on?

42.
Ifeatu Melifonwu
CB- Dan Quinn pick. Long, rangy, athletic. Lit up the senior bowl and slots in immediately opposite Diggs as our number 2 corner.

74.
Tyler Shelvin
IDL- The run stuffer we have wanted, and he has a nose for the football. He commands double teams and learning from Snacks will make him a much better player.

99
Talanoa Hufanga
S- A little raw but he has great instincts and can be our cornerstone safety within 2 years

115.
Walker Little
OT-Understudy to Tyron smith. Very athletic, and also very smart. Can identify stunts and twists quickly. He isnt a mauler in the run game but he is still very good.

139.
Dazz Newsome
WR- This kid is just a playmaker in every sense of the word. Can add a PR and KR element to our team as well so we can stop risking Lamb there. I dont think we keep Gallup so this is a good way to replace him without a drop-off.

179.
Khyiris Tonga
IDL-Mountain of a man. Run defence and more run defence. I dont care if its overkill. I am tired of seeing this team gashed for 200 yards on the ground.

193.
Malcolm Koonce
EDGE High motor guy who can be rotational pass rush help.

232.
Thomas Graham
Jr. CB-Not much to say other than depth.

Let me know what y'all think.

I don’t see parson being there
But if he is I take him
Probably best option at CB possible in the second
Maybe over kill inside but I get your point
I also think McCoy will be back myself

Yeah. I just dont know if I would want him over Snacks. I think we are good at 3T. We need people to stop the run. Woods is serviceable but I want someone there that has TALENT lol

Not as if it isn't extremely realistic.

Harrison would probably get cut in camp. He apparently doesn't have much left if anything. The couch probably took him permanently out of game shape.

Other than that its about as good as we can probably expect.

I am trying to make realistic ones. Sewell was available at 10 in the draft I did but I know he wont be there so I aint gonna take him lol. Id pay Snacks just to teach Shelvin lol.

I think you could do both
Snacks is not gonna be that expensive but at this point in his career I don’t see him doing a ton of snaps
Maybe 40% at max
McCoy plays run well from 3T and gives you more pass rush
Woods is just a rotational guy but a decent guy for that if you don’t also add a guy in the draft
Gallimore, hill, McCoy, woods and snacks isn’t a bad set of DT’s, even better if you added a nice 1t prospect in the draft to push woods out in a year

i like parsons...if they aren't concerned about his immaturity...the talent is worth the pick.
the draft show a few episodes back touched on it.
bucky brooks has known him since his h.s. days and says he would be concerned about his "immaturity issues" and questioned how much football matters to him.
i think his age has something to do with it.
if the CBs are off the board...parsons should be in the conversation.

i like the 2 CBs....the syracuse kid...love his size....and thomas graham from oregon.

usc s is a heckuva player.

really like the tackle from stanford...walker little...love his size...moves well....has a lil' nastiness to him.
good player.

Snacks is done, he would be another Poe if signed. Like the top 3 selections, but after that not loving it.

Draft is good but absolutely HATE your FA moves

not a single need filled

I disagree that we're good at 3-tech. It is supposed to be a pressure position and we don't get much pressure from it. That penetration is what makes these kinds of defenses tick. I like Gallimore as a rotational guy. Not as sure about Hill. But we need a stud there who can consistently get into the backfield.

Way too high for Shelvin. He is going to a career two down player. You dont guys that play 40% or less of snaps on day 2

I think that’s a pretty solid haul. Hufanga is likely best suited at SS so not sure how he fits in but everything else looks pretty good.

How do you figure? 1tech cb and safety how is it not?

because all of these are over the hill or carry huge injury red flags . This is just dumpster diving

All you are doing is checking off the box with full knowledge that most likely these people will not contribute in any significant manner

this is what Cowboys every year. Check the box so you can tell fans “see we tried” when in reality that’s not the case

this is why positions like FS and DT have been huge holes for years and years and years

at some point we have to sign a couple of tier 1 FA at positions of critical need
