Wentz led the league in INTs and didn't play the last few games. He looked tentative and shell-shocked. I can see why teams are concerned about him. Up until this past year he has had a good OL, but injuries on the OL left him exposed in 2020.

I think Wentz can be rehabilitated. He can be a lot better than he was last year, but he is always going to be the guy who takes risks with the football. That is not necessarily a bad thing because when he is hot he can makes some ridiculous plays. Of course when he is not, he looks ridiculous. Still, he can be decent for someone. I don't think he is a locker room cancer as some people are saying. A year ago people we talking about what a great guy he is, although a bit of a goober. When the Eagles drafted Jalen Hurts, I can see why Wentz got a little miffed. Rodgers reportedly got a little miffed when the Packers drafted a QB too. Pride is not a bad thing to have necessarily.
PHL used a 2nd on Hurts, GB used their 1st when they really could use WR's as GB is a little weapon challenged. I don't think them picking a QB bothered Rodgers too much, he's too arrogant and egotistical for that to matter.

Damn.......Colts and Bears don't even have starting QBs but so they both refuse to offer a 1st. Howie may have screwed this one up......the best he may be able to get 2022 conditional 1st.

Lol. Considering his age, if the Eagles really thought he’s worth a first round pick, they would just keep him. What a clown show.

He's worth a 2nd. Worth trading for, but not as a long term starter. Could be an interim starter for a team that drafts a QB.

Only idiots like certain posters on this forum think he’s worth that.

Only QBs worth more than 2 1sts with no extra fluff are

Mahomes
Watson
Dak
Russel Wilson
Rodgers

Everyone else is either too old, expandable, or unproven

lmao! Dak for 2 1sts? You are flat out of your mind!

The guy is a spoiled locker room cancer who just lobbied to get the coach fired. Those players don't and won't ever respect him. AND he looks like he isnt even a good football player anymore with a huge contract.

I'd be surprised if a team wants that crap for 2 second round picks. I wouldn't.

There were rumors to reports that it wasn't Wentz who forced the firing of Pederson , but it was Pederson's refusal to fire and change out certain assistants that
led to the clash with management and firing of Pederson.

Note how Pederson is gone, and Wentz is still trying to force his trade out of Philly.

No...wrong...he got them to the playoffs...Foles got them to the Superbowl...Wentz's played no role in the post season.

So in reality, Wentz has zero post season skins on the wall...IIRC he only has 4 career postseason passes with 25% completion rate, 0.75 ypa , and 1 fumble...that is the extent of his career contributions to the eagles attempt to get to the SB at any point in his career. So spare me with Wentz got them to the SB.
Wentz got them to the super bowl drink more kool aid

This over hyped underachiever isn't worth a 1st rd pick, hell he isn't worth 3 rd pick. Philly screwed up when they gave him a boat load of money for doing nothing and I mean NOTHING! Wentz is one of the most inconsistent QB's in the league, this is why the Eagles decided to move on in another direction and why teams that just need a warm body to take snaps are circling above like vultures. The Eagles are in a world of hurt when it comes to offing Wentz.

as each day passes the offers will dwindle. I wouldn't be shocked to see them trade up for a couple 3rds and a future 2nd. Teams know Wince isn't in the same class as Stafford. Howie Roseman is a buffoon.

nope. I rather try to draft a guy like Mac Jones if hes sitting there early 2nd . He is better than Wince right now.

Exactly.......Stafford trade was an exception to the rule. McVay and Rams made up their minds to make him a Ram regardless of what it took. Most other offers capped his value at 1st and mid-round pick.
Hey Hawk.....
The trade value was for one 2021 1st round pick.....in the 20-23 range.
That was the 2021 value of the Lions/Rams trade.

The reason the Lions took it instead a more valuable (draft capital only) offer from Carolina was that Goff was included and they had the cap space. Their new guy there is ex-Rams and Goff supporter. They feel at worst he can be a two-year bridge and maybe more.

How has Wentz's injury history affected his performance of late? He looked very good early in his career. There was a reason he was drafted so high. If not health, is the supporting cast and/or coaching to blame?

I would not be surprised to see a healthy Wentz thrive in a different environment. He is still young. Goff too. These guys might play another decade or more. Their story is not over yet.

Why the Philly media always goes to Jaws is beyond me. It's not like the Egals are the only team he ever played for.
I think it's because he is so strongly affiliated with that franchise and he was such a talker back then he just comes off as an Eagle.
