Cap: $182.5m
Current Space: $19.6m

Cut:
Jaylon Smith (Post June 1) - $7.2m
Chris Jones - $2m

Restructure:
Amari Cooper - $14.3m

Re-Sign:
Chido Awuzie, CB - 2 years, $18m
Noah Brown, WR - 3 years, $6m
Cedrick Wilson, WR - 2 years, $6m
Antwaun Woods, DT - 2 years, $5m
Andy Dalton, QB - 1 year, $2m
Justin March, LB, CJ Goodwin, CB - 1 year, $1m

FA Signings:
John Johnson, S - 4 years, $55m
Carl Lawson, DE - 4 years, $60m
Malcom Brown, DT - 2 years, $12m
Avery Williamson, LB - 2 years, $10m
Ted Karras, C - 1 year, $2.5m

Going to need to play with signing bonuses to be cap compliant, but should be fine.

Draft:
1 (10) - Rashawn Slater, OT. Starts at LG on day 1, serves as a swing tackle as well.
https://twitter.com/Marcus_Mosher/status/1369367651215114247
2 (44) - Jevon Holland, S. Getting slept on, probably because he opted out. As talented as any safety in the draft, and has some ability to play slot corner. Should be an immediate contributor in sub-packages and eventual starter.

3 (75) - Alim McNeill, DT. Don't really buy that he's going to sneak up into the second, should be a solid rotational piece right away.

3 (99) - Pete Werner, LB. Probably starts in 4-3 base packages, but is athletic enough to play shorter zones in nickel. Smart, fluid against the run. Ability to stack and shed.

4 (115) -Tommy Tremble, TE. Replaces both Blake Bell and Jamize Olawale as an H-Back, good enough WR to replace Schultz if his contract gets out of whack. Smart, tough type player, underrated as an athlete.

4 (139) - Trill Williams, CB/S. Lots of physical tools, so has some upside, but I like him because he's just a gamer. Like any CB late, going to have some flaws, but should give teams value right away. Might be a bit of wishful thinking to be available here, but there are a lot of more polished corners.

5 (179) - Charles Snowden, Edge. Might need to put on weight, to be a consistent edge, but tools and movement are there.
https://twitter.com/VirginiaSports/status/1320394689162346496
6 (192) - Larry Borom, G/T. Big, moves well. Developmental guy, but will probably be a guard in the NFL.
https://twitter.com/FarabaughFB/status/1355454781163233280
6 (227) - Shi Smith, WR. Could contribute in the slot right away, probably not an outside guy, but should be a Beasley-type player.
https://twitter.com/DillySanders/status/1355725348734951424
7 (238) - Isaiah Kaufusi, LB. Probably a ST player, maybe decent depth. Not a ton of upside, but a character guy.

Roster:
QB (2) - Dak, Dalton

I don't see them cutting Jaylon. I think they'll try to get him to take a pay cut, but I don't think he's going anywhere.

I like Wilson and Brown, both are decent back ups. But I can't see paying those 2 WR's $6m a piece. The reality is neither of them is anything more than a JAG and replacements with as much skill can be had in the later rds with virtually no cost attached. Bottom rooster churn is absolutely needed.
I'm good with all the other FA signings.

First 4 picks are all good. The rest of them, not so much for me.

Good stuff. I do think Holland is alot better than people give him credit for. Sitting out and probably not being a blow you away athlete are causing people to sleep on him.

My take on McNeil: 3rd round tape. If he tests as well athletically as people think he will, I think FO's will probably look at him in the 2nd believe their staff can maximize his talent. I think that's where you get the 2nd round projections. However I don't think he is coming right in and playing 3T in the NFL without more development

Idk that they'll cut Jaylon either, but I think they should lol. Might just depend on the draft.

The contracts are all TCV. They're making 2 and 3m per.

I'm not cutting Jaylon and neither is Dallas. I agree with the re-signings and I think Dallas has to try keeping either Awuzie or Lewis. I like the free-agent signings, especially Malcom Brown. I'm not taking Slater at 10. I still have confidence in the current line, think it's a deep draft for tackles, and have higher rated defensive players who I think will be on the board. I like Holland and agree he's being slept on. I still don't have him rated that high. Agree on McNeill too. Really like the player but I think he could be had in the late 3rd early 4th. There's several linebackers I like better than Werner in the 3rd but that comp pick is about where he'll probably fall. Dig the rest of it, especially Trill Williams and Snowden who looks like a prototypical Quinn type long rangy LB.

current value or not we can't really afford to pay them, not when we can easily replace them for almost nothing. We need that $ if we want all those other FA's signed

So where are Snowden & Kaufusi on the roster?

Tyron Smith won't survive as the left tackle and you keep bum Cameron Erving and cut Terrence Steele?

We gave many yards in the air and you want Chidobi Awuzie and Darrian Thompson back?

Are you expecting rookie Pete Werner to start in Jaylen Smith's place? That's a failure waiting to happen. Avery Williamson is nothing special.

#10 pick on a Guard? So we have 4 OGs .Two drafted in the 1st,one in the 2nd,and one in the 3rd. Wasted money just for Guard depth. Brandon Knight can do fine as depth.

Dorance Armstrong and RonDell Carter really are just Jebrones.

No reason to sign Ted Karras because Connor McGovern can play center and a better athlete than Karras.

Shi Smith doesn't see the field unless he is a returner.

I want to see Jaylon behind legit DT's and see how he plays. If it's the same as last year - then you cut next season.

current value or not we can't really afford to pay them, not when we can easily replace them for almost nothing. We need that $ if we want all those other FA's signed
You can afford them, the math is pretty easy.

They're making almost nothing. The number of guys who can give you capable WR3 play for less than Cedrick Wilson is basically 0, unless they're rookies. You can maybe save a bit on Brown, but not much. Both those guys have value because they're proven cheap depth, anyone else is basically a rookie.

Good stuff

I would be very surprised if Dalton can had this year for 2 mil, but who knows for sure.
Idk, maybe he gets 3, same as last year. But Cam just signed as a starter for 6, there's no market for these backup guys.

I like the idea of cutting Jaylon but doubt they will I heard he'll be the MLB this year. If they did cut him I'd try to do a little more to replace him either in the draft Collins, Bolton, or Davis or in FA.

I like Slater, the ultimate swing Offensive lineman but doubt that they take him
Holland would be good but I would take Johnson ahead of him
McNeill would be OK at three.

Tremble would be a great pick at that spot.
Snowden and Smith would be good day three guys, don't know much about the other two.

Crushed it man. Anything that has us getting John Johnson I’d be stoked. Great haul in the draft as well

Love the FA signing and the draft...I'd just be shocked if we'd be able to spend that much.

Like who?

I'm a big Dylan Moses fan. You could argue Jamin Davis won't be there in the 3rd but he's be one too. I won't lose sleep if they take Werner though, he seems like a lunch pail player and Dallas needs more of those.

I like it outside of re-signing Awuzie, atleast to a deal like that, as I don't think he's worth that type of coin, especially in a buyers market.

Rather go with a Malcom Brown or a vet if he gets 9mil per

Like it a lot, outside of Holland who I believe will be more of a slot corner, not a free safety which we really need most.
