I know TEs, seldom do they generate much excitement, but Pitts isnt a TE, dont believe the label.
He is the classic Hybrid that is always spoken of but rarely seen.
Kelce is probably the closest, and then I would have to jump to a player like Christian McCaffrey to
compare his hands skills and physicality not only during the route running with brains but physical at the point of delivery, the catch.. there is explosion there and thats what differentiates himself as the most
unique talent in this entire draft..
I believe that is the definition of a Blue Chip player.

As we get nearer this unusual draft I see the first round pick defence and not long ago I saw opportunity for a high graded offensive player [Slater,Pitts]. Makes it all simple

Just watch The eagles take Pitts at 6.
Not just because they want to pull another Goedert move on us, but because Pitts is just that player, that deserves a top grade.
I will hate it if Pitts goes to the Eagles, but when you look at their "need" and draft slot "6", and a Kyle Pitts staring at their roster slobbering.. you make that pick all day, if not they blind fools.

They need a WR1 in a bad, bad way. I could definitely see them going Chase and as much as they covet speed on the outside, I think they might give Waddle serious consideration there. He’s exactly what Howie has been wanting.

Plus, they have Goedert at TE already and although he isn’t Pitts, he was a high round pick and is well thought of in league circles. They don’t have much of anything at WR.

They also are in dire need at corner, so I could see them going Surtain or Farley. They probably think they’d be stealing a player from Dallas if they go CB.

So, as big as their needs are at WR and CB, and with Philly not being as much of a BPA team as Dallas and some others are, I would be mildly surprised if they skipped those positions to replace Goedert.

However, Pitts is so talented that they might take him regardless of the above factors.

I’m pulling for “blind fools” though.

If the Eagles did go DB or any defensive player there, can you imagine what drops now, would be a treasure trove, and optimum time to trade back, phone will be ringing for sure.

One thing with that Eagles that could push them away from WR: They drafted one in the 2nd and 1st of the last two drafts.

Im really hoping that factors in to their decision making in the 1st round and they go CB, because I dont want to see Pitts or Chase there. Chase especially. I liked Reagor alot last year, and I think Chase would open up alot of him. Id rather they keep trying to make him a #1

I might consider Waddle, and then get on the phone about moving Gallup. Waddle would be devastating with Lamb and Cooper

You see what Im talking about, Waddle is definitely in play around there as well, my point being and remaining that Offensive talent is out weighing the defensive prospects at ten.
Unless a team like Philly goes defensive with their pick at 6.
That would change what is there at 10 significantly.

I think people get too stuck on feeling the need to take a defender at 10. Its almost symbolic at this point. We still have plenty of assets to fix the defense.

damn near plethora status.
Trading players during the draft isnt ideal, but if you draft Waddle I still think you could get a 2nd for Gallup before the first round is over. It's a critical position, and he is a sure thing

I would want more, but Im just greedy.

I would think so probably in the top 5. I'm thinking that if one of the WRs fall they might be thinking about taking him and trading Gallup or Cooper for a day two pick. This would help the cap space and could be a upgrade once he gets some game experience.

I've heard the Eagles love Waddle. Pitts very well can be taken in front of us, but there is also a chance he falls due to his position.

If he there at 10 and they don't take him, don't try selling me BPA. If I had the 1st pick and didn't need a QB, I'd take him and CIN might just surprise and take him instead of Sewell.

Pitts could be the equivalent of Tyreek Hill at the TE spot and cause the secondary to twitch. And on a team with talent at the WR spot, he could be something we've not seen.

If I am the Cowboys WRs, I am rooting for Pitts as the pick.

CeeDee was a blue chip player, where did he go? Pitts shouldn't be at 10, but it definitely is possible. TEs fall all the time and there are a ton of QBs expected to go in the top 10. Somethings got to give.

I've seen mock drafts by mediots that have Pitts way later in the first round. I think one had the patriots getting him.

I saw one 2 or 3 weeks ago with Pitts sliding to New England at 15.

Whoever was doing that Mock was uninformed, I think. As the pre-draft process has gone on, Pitts has continued to rise and rise.

I still remember seeing mock drafts with Aaron Donald going in the second round, lol.

Pitts has risen like Donald but he just started in the first round instead of the second.

Agreed. If he’s there at 10 you gotta take him

I’d take him at 10. Unless some team wanted to give me a nice haul to trade up and take him.
