Dolphins trade 3rd overall pick to 49ers

so I guess they are fine with either Lance, Fields or Wilson since they can't dictate who will be there...very interesting this far out from the draft

They are banking on the Jets passing on a QB so they can snatch Wilson.

Gives Dolphins opportunity to replace Tua if he doesn't pan out with a high pick/package

And who says that life does not imitate art. This is like the movie Draft Day.

Miami just flipped the 12th pick to Philly. Philly get the #12 pick and picks up a #1 for 2022, thus giving them three #1 picks next year (most likely as the threshold to convey in the Wentz deal is pretty low).

Miami just flipped that 12th pick to move back to #6. Philly now is picking 12th and picked up one of those Miami first rounders in 2022.

It's quite possible four QBs three WRs and a TE are taken before us. That leaves some really good value at ten.

if what the 9ers are saying about jimmy g is true...maybe they just secured te kyle pitts.

but you gotta think this move up is for a qb and jimmy g maybe goin back to ne.

The trade features the Dolphins sending the third overall pick to the 49ers in exchange for San Francisco’s No. 12 overall pick this year, a third-round compensatory pick this year, and first-round picks in both 2022 and 2023.

Keep in mind that if we had LOST to the Bengals and then lost out, we would have had the 3rd overall pick.

/sigh

Pick 10 is OK.

This is where the people who were all for “team tank” can say, “I told you so.”

At a certain point, we were close to that #3 pick but Nah, we tried to win the division when everyone knew this team wasn't good enough. Imagine getting 3 first-round picks and just be two picks away from the #10 pick.
