This is weird because on one hand I can respect the move because Eagles get a 1st next year and with Tua at QB...I'd expect the Dolphins to struggle but who knows.
That being said, if you are a team like the Eagles....that is old and needs youth and premiere prospects....you have to wonder how does this help you in that regard. You're trading away from premiere prospects.....trading away from the best receivers(include Pitts in there).
The move seems counterproductive but on the surface it is a good move.
I think it's about accepting they might not be all that good this coming year and loading up on picks for the future. At 6, they were basically not going to get Lawrence or Wilson (the reports up here were they liked Wilson) and there are some rumors they tried to make a play for the 3rd pick themselves. When that didn't materialize, I think they went fishing for another pick next year so they have ammo to draft a QB in 2022.
