The players aren’t going to like this and the locker room will suffer as well as the team. Bodes well for the Cowboys.

Why? Because they moved down 6 spots in the draft? They still will end up with one of the three best WRs in draft.

Maybe, but even before today I thought the Eagles were likely finishing last or at best 3rd in the division.
They were obviously looking at moving up for a QB, so they’re probably looking at next year’s draft now to get one.

No they won't. But yes, you are right. The idea that this trade impacts their season is stupid

Trading down in the draft isn’t really “tanking”.
Exactly. So if we trade down in the draft does that mean we are tanking? Don't think so. NFCE is wide open. I like to put the rosey color glasses on but no ones know what will happen and every team has question marks going into the season including us.

Whatever you want to call it, teams are going for it and trying to win here and now.
Look at the Niners... they just moved up to the third pick in the draft and gave up quite a bit to get there. This is why I was screaming my head off to tank this year. You never know what can happen. All you Dak lovers could have still resigned Dak and have still won 2 or 3 games... Maybe we could have gotten additional first round picks in 22 & 23. This ownership is just too stupid for its own good.
Who knows what player the Niners are after? We are clearly not one of the smart teams.

Lol

Watson could very well be done in this league.

No team is trading for him now.
Well then idk about much tank, still at 12 can take impact player and potentially have 3 first round picks next season, that sucks! lol

What if they trade for Watson with that ammo?

At this point with Watson.....he'd have to be STUPID to go to the Eagles with the crap that's over there and the Eagles would have to be stupid to trade for him. I don't know who's going to touch him right now. ITs almost in the Texans best interest to wait it out until he can get this stuff behind him.

I don't think so. I bet all 3 are gone and Pitts as well

4 QBs will go. Two OL, maybe three. Probably 2 CBs. That would mean one of the three or Pitts would be there at 12. And that doesn’t factor in a surprise like maybe Barmore going higher. Parsons could be in there as well.

Besides dropping down from 6 to 12 (and getting a future 1st first for doing so) what did they do?

Also, I already assumed Philly was 3rd or 4th in the division

lol
Ironically, I think they are now are potential trade partner with us if a WR is there

They just traded what they thought was their franchise QB and made a HC change all in the same off season.

At some point they have to ask themselves "what are we doing, what kind of team do we have now"?

They don't know what they have in Hurts, so they take this season to find out. They thought they had what they needed, time to regroup and prepare for the future.

Few would pick them to finish better than 4th in the East so they really haven't tanked on a year no one was picking them to do anything.
