I don’t remember Von at A&M.. How does Micah compare to him in College? Von is a inch taller. Weight is the same. Micah got him on the 40 according to his pro day. How does the motor compare?

I think Adalius Thomas when he was a Raven is a better comp

Von Miller was an elite edge rusher coming out of college. He had incredible tape showing off not only athleticism, but production and projection. I don't think there is much comparison other than Parsons having been a DE previously and being very athletic. Parsons doesn't do anything at an elite level at this point.

If he's Von Miller and the Cowboys take him they'd better move to the 3/4, not happening with Quinn, or move him to DE.

The Cowboys need a LB to play the run first, not rush the passer.

Yeah, 109 tackles, 14 TFL, 5 sacks, 5 PDs, 4 FF in 13 games in 2019.

That 2019 season came during just his second season playing LB. He’s got a ton of upside which makes the talk of his instincts (or lack thereof) short-sighted.

To insinuate Parsons hasn’t shown production to match his athleticism is silly.

You’re right. Parsons was highest rated linebacker ever from off for rush defense. That’s what we need

Parsons actually reminds me of Edmunds from Buffalo when he was coming out of college.

No. He doesn't compare to Miller. Miller was a pure edge guy. Parsons, if you read some of the scouting reports, might be a guy without a position. Not in a negative sense but you see people thinking he'll have to play inside or he has to play outside. You knew what you had in Miller, Parsons is a bit more of an unknown (again, not as a negative, he's a very good player and I wouldn't be upset if we took him).

Like has been said already, Miller was an edge rusher and Parsons is an off the ball LB... pretty big difference in what they’re asked to do.

In this draft, Ojulari is closer to Miller, I think.

IMO Parsons is pretty good when asked to get after the QB though. It is actually one of the things he does most naturally... probably because he played DE in high school and was really good at it. That’s why I’ve wondered out loud if Parsons might get some snaps at Quinn’s LEO position.

Primarily an off the ball LB however, and should be very good at that.

Man there is so much talent in this draft, I would LOVE to have this kid and either Surtain, Horn, or Moehrig
