Has us taking:

1 - Surtain
2 - Nixon
3 - Surratt
3 - Atwell

Given how the draft fell, Surtain seems like the best option there at 10 unless you think Pitts is the way to go. Our 2nd round pick was interesting. I like Nixon but in this mock, JOK slid into the 2nd round and was available at our 2nd pick. With Quinn wanting to get faster and more flexible at LB, you wonder if they'd be tempted to go with Owusu-Koramoah there. Grant was there in the 3rd but he had us taking Surratt, which I am wishy washy on. With the comp pick, with Little the OT from Stanford or Brown the OT from Northern Iowa sitting there or even Jones the DE from Pitt sitting there, I am not sure I can justify taking Atwell there.

I could live with that.

CBS is horrible. I’m not as big on JOK as some but I can’t imagine a scenario where he is available for us in round 2. I like Nixon, but I not at all a fan of the picks in the 3rd round

If that is the case I would have gone with
Surtain
JOK
Grant
Little

The third bothered me too. Seems like there were better options available at those spots. I can kind of see why he had Atwell to us as he's a smallish speed guy at WR that we don't necessarily have. But where's he going to play with our Top 3 WRs? I think there's more value in one of the OTs there that you can then develop.

I like you mock better - Surtain, JOK, Grant, Shelvin. But it would be hard to pass on Nixon in the 2nd.

I like Nixon but I think JOK would be a gift. And I’m not as high on him ask some. But he would be great value there.Truth is Nixon wouldn’t be a reach and I could see why we are interested.

CBS used to be a good draft resource. Not anymore.

I hope he’s right about Pitts sliding to 10 because Hopefully, Dallas would make that pick. I like Surtain an awful lot, but Pitts is on another level as a prospect and I think that’s where you have to go.

As many here know, I’m a pretty big fan of Nixon and have been banging the drum for him since the end of the season. However, if JOK is there at 44, I’d be upset if Dallas passed on him. That guy is a beast and would be the perfect Quinn LB. He’s Deion Jones, but better. Significantly better IMO. He’s going to be impactful in the NFL and would essentially be another first round pick for Dallas.

Obviously, you then wouldn’t take Surratt in the third if you just got JOK, so Paulson Adebo would probably be the way to go there. I’d like Grant there but Adebo is a potential starter outside and is a nice consolation prize at corner.

Without spending too much time on looking at who’s left, I’d go Stanford back-to-back and take Little to groom at OT.

Pitts
JOK
Adebo
Little

Much of what happened it this mock very likely won’t come to pass, unfortunately because this draft would have me excited as hell.

Trade down is the way to go here, if that were to happen but if not, then Pitts.
