Pro Days 3/31: UF-LSU-ND-UK-Wake F

Guys on NFL Network just said Pitts has to go early but:

They think it’ll be QB the first 4 picks.

Then Sewell for Cincy.

Chase to Miami at 6.

Then they say Atl likely won’t go TE after Hockenson.

Carolina wants QB.

Denver has two really good TE’s already, including Fant who was a first round pick.

Then they said, “Who’s next? Dallas?” Then they both laughed and said, “Kyle Pitts would look very good with a star on the side of his helmet.”

:omg:

Where’s the fingers crossed emoji?

I’d be fine with Pitts at 10 but then we better move Cooper or Gallup

Bengals need a tackle badly but you can't rule out Pitts for them either. ATL sits right behind them at 4 and would likely draft him. Pitts on cincy makes sense if you think about their weapons currently.

Pitts was asked what he thought his strength was.

Pitts: “My ability to read coverage quickly and take advantage. I know how to read a defense and get open.”

Very telling that he feels like that’s his biggest strength. He didn’t say speed or length, etc. He’s a great football player first and great athlete second. It is why he’s such a great player.

Bengals could be on the clock with Pitts, Chase, and Sewell all there. 3 top 5 players. I thing you build from the trenches that’s why I still take Sewell. Facing the likes of Myles Garrett and TJ Watt both twice a year, plus a very phsysicql Ravens defense. Gimme the LT. JMO..

Notre Dame numbers. JOK didn't run a 40, or bench press today. Liam Eichenberg and Tommy Tremble with some good numbers:

Jane Slater just said that GM’s and personnel guys only speak more highly of Trevor Lawrence than they do Chase. She said that they all absolutely love Chase.

Daniel Jeremiah: “Chase plays with the anger of Steve Smith Jr.”

That is very high praise.
Think anyone taking another receiver over him is crazy. I know Smith had a great yr, but worry about that frame.

Long arms and a very nice 3 cone for JOK.

Figures that his 3 cone would be good. I wish he would’ve lifted and ran the 40 tho.

If you use the normal 20 yard shuttle being .4 less than the 40 yard time, it extrapolates to being around 4.55 for him, which is what I would have expected him to run.

Tommy Tremble from Notre Dame. Underrated guy who is an absolute demon blocking in the run game and was very underutilized in the passing game. He’s a 3rd/4th round guy, but he would be perfect in the Cowboy offense as a FB/HB type of player.

I put him in all my mocks. H-back extraordinar.

Slater has longer arms then Einsenberg, yet nobody is even suggesting him moving inside.

Slater is more of a leveraging inline blocker, which lends itself to playing inside. Eichenberg is a finesse guy who won't let you around the corner, but I think power guys are gonna give him trouble.

You're also talking about vastly different round projections.

I think Atlanta is a very likely spot for Pitts. Hayden Hurst is their TE, not Hockensin. Hurst is solid but not great and a free agent after the year.

And if Carolina misses on 1 of the top 4 QB’s I think they would be a strong suitor for Pitts as well.

Also entirely possible those 2 teams trade picks so Car gets the QB and Atlanta gets picks + Pitts at 8.

Or none of that happens...
