Ingleside has changed so much over the years. From a nothing place, to a bustling Navy presence and back again. It’s a great place to catch Sand Trout one after the other. Great for frying up in corn meal as they’re small fish and end up crispy as hell.

I remember, back in the 70's, when there was one dentist in the entire town (Jerk'um Kirkem, who shot my dog in front of me) and the Sheriff was madly in love with my mom, along with the mayor- his name was Roy something.
The mayor was my babysitter after my father's head injury when I was 2.
I remember him taking me to get ice cream after pre-school.

My ma bartended at the Crab Inn and one other place to keep us afloat.
