Jamin Davis

This kid had 102 tackles, 3 INT's and a pick 6 last year for 90 yards in 10 games.

Not bad....;)

I think the biggest problem is that those are the only 10 games to scout...he has such little experience, but the talent is obviously tantalizing.
I’ve been advocating for Davis in the 2nd round for a few weeks now, but 10 is just crazy talk. And if someone wants to reach for him that’s great, I don’t see 4 non pass rushing LB’s going top 44 so give me whoever falls out of Parsons, Davis, JOK, or Collins. Any would be great at 44 and I don’t think there’s a huge difference in terms of future potential. Not saying they will, but I can see all 4 turning into pro-bowl type players.

Lol. I still dont get the linebacker interest from Dallas with 2 high paid starters

You don't draft for now, you draft for the future. LVE's contract is up after the season and they can get out of Jaylon's for relatively cheap. If they grade a LB as the best prospect at their pick, they should absolutely pull the trigger.

Uhhh his contract isnt up after the season if they pick up his 5th year option, hence it not making sense to draft a guy. And please explain how they can get out of Jaylons contract cheap? Didnt he just get a 7 mil roster bonus????
Your math isn't adding up to a linebacker selection.

Now, if they decline LVE 5th year option then maybe you have a point.

I obviously don't expect them to pick up LVE's extension. That should have been self-explanatory. And the dead money cutting Jaylon after next season is absolutely manageable. Him signing a roster bonus this off-season doesn't effect that to my knowledge.

Regardless of all these points, they've both been awful so there is no reason to exclude the position from draft plans.

Ok, then I see where you are going then.
