I’m listening to the local radio and here’s the deal 1st and 3rd to move up 3 spots. It depends who is there and if Pitts is there they won’t do it.
I don't see how anyone on the radio would ever know this.

I think Pitts or Sewell are both worth a trade-up consideration. Both are generational talents and Sewell is certainly a position of need, if not immediately, probably very soon, unfortunately. I'm doubtful Smith can go the full season with his injury history.

Trading up for a corner in this draft would be completely idiotic.
I agree. But I wonder if the Cowboys agree. I hope so. Their justification, I suppose, would be their intent for the guy to be a day-1 starter. Make sure you get the guy you feel best about.

That's the exact trade I had projected last week.

I personally think Smith may be the heathiest he has been in 3-4 years. If the neck/back thing was fixed with this surgery he should be good to go. I also expect the year off helps with the knee and elbow. But this will be a critical year for him and the team.

It would be odd. I imagine it's for Pitts.

I would do it

I would do it if Pitts is there but it is highly unlikely he will be.

Unless they love a particular corner and are afraid Carolina would take him. I wouldn't, but they might.

The Cowboys have tended to avoid those type of moves in recent years.

Pitts is the only player radically above players available at 10.

Maybe Penei Sewell depending on how the Cowboys feel about the long term outlook for Tyron and La'el.

It could go either way.

He need the surgery about 3 years ago but declined Doctor's recommendations to have it.
- He also had a year off to help with other nagging injury issues that he has had.

On the other hand, back issues can be an instant ticket to retirement if luck goes against the player.

The fact that La'el is also an unknown at this point makes OT a definite consideration in the 1st.
- Something seems off with him other than just the injury issues.
