I have bands, weights (up to 25 lbs) and an elliptical machine.
I'm not looking to bulk up, I'm looking to lean up.

Brad Pitt in Snatch shape.

I'm not in bad shape. I'm just struggling to get into good shape.

Sedentary jobs suck.
I have daughters With masters degrees. They both work from home. In fact my youngest daughter has her masters in science and math. She works in Boston. They just told her today they won’t be going back. So she’ll be working at home for the next two years probably. And it’s up to her to get a routine together for her team so they can meet once in a while other than just FaceTime. That’s the New World

I have to think it's some form of therapy and anger release.
Dude's just working out, like we want him to, and here comes the storm troopers.
It’s like they’ve got their hands hovering over the keyboard just waiting for a positive thread so they can attack. It is disappointing, sad and disheartening.

When I know I can’t get to the gym for seven days. I like to do my total body routine. Most people go in on Monday and do you like chest and triceps. Go in the next day and do like back and biceps. And then the third day legs. I like to go in on Monday. Three sets of 10 for chest. Same thing for shoulders back tricep biceps legs. Then I go in the next day and do the same thing but totally new exercises for the body parts. When people work on chest. They’ll do flat bench decline bench incline bench peck deck .Maybe some dumbbells whatever. I choose just one of those exercises each day is different with the other groupings. Nice and light nice and smooth

I know you want honest feedback. You’re not looking for hateful criticism just because. I miss the old forum

I have a stationary chair.
You can sit down with a good posture put the straps under your feet. And do all sorts of exercises. From behind the head presses to curls. One arm triceps. Use your imagination and have fun with it that’s the best advice I can give you. Variety variety is the secret

telling @Corso to “use his imagination “ is like giving a blow torch to a pyromaniac

nothing good will come off it

I’ve never understood the chest/tri’s and back/bi’s routine, I gave it up almost 20 years ago (it didn’t last long). I’m not saying you’re wrong and a lot of people still follow that formula but I think it’s an old school mindset that hasn’t gone away.

I purposely do back and bi’s and chest and tri’s as far away as I can from each other. For example, I did chest and legs today, traps/bi’s tomorrow, just cardio on Sat due to work, tri’s/shoulders on Sun, and back/lats on Monday. Then repeat.

I want to be able to get the most out of each muscle group and obviously if you do tri’s/chest and back/bi’s together than one of them will suffer since they’re secondary to each other. When I did bi’s and back together I wouldn’t be able to lift as much or do as many sets in bi’s if I did back first or vice versa compared to separating them a few days between. Why not maximize each muscle group by giving them time to heal between days?

I definitely benefited from doing it that way in both strength and size.

No doubt Zeke heard the noise last year. I think he's gonna come out and do damage.
Same damage he did last year after he heard plenty of noise and tweeted “put respect by my name”? The only noise I hear every year is from fans saying he will “run angry” or “beast mode” and all that’s happened is he’s declined.

The whole thing is because he SHOULD be working out! People posting videos are trying to praise him for doing his job. Where are the videos of the other 21 starters working out? Maybe there are none because they don’t feel the need to promote themselves for doing what they should be doing. Thanks for trying to stay in shape and improve zeke, I know that’s a lot to ask from the highest paid RB in the league. Very impressed!

I don’t think these people understand. What it means to lose weight and muscle weight. You take over two years. A zillion reps is the only thing that eats muscle. And reshapes it. Yeah you’re right these people don’t have a clue

Yeah, 'these people' have no clue, except players come from off season training all the time with different body shapes. How many times did Crawford add or remove 20 lbs depending on if he was supposed to be an end or tackle? 10 lbs alone makes a world of difference for a rb. The fact that you guys think it would take 2 years just to lose some body weight is hilarious

I’ve put on 12 lbs in the past 6 weeks on purpose, obviously some fat but my fat % hasn't gone up too much. What you eat, how you lift and how much cardio you do make a big difference. In my early twenties I would regularly cut from ~250 to 220-15 in 6-8 weeks.

It shouldn’t be that hard for most of these guys at their age. Look at Jeff Saturday and how many other O lineman drop over 100 lbs in a relative short amount of time just based on diet alone.

You misunderstand. Not body weight. Muscle weight. They’re two different things . That’s why people that bulk up and have big muscles. When they stop working out they look flabby. That’s not fat that’s loose muscle. And to lose that takes twice as much work as it does to lose fat. Again if people only knew what they were talking about
