NFL.com has made some updates the big board and the Draftplex big board has been recently upgraded so here is my third Mock with possibly one more to come. This draft ended up with four defensive players with starter grades, the deep threat they're looking for at WR, and quality insurance against injuries on the offensive line.

Traded back to pick 16.and swapped first the the Cardinals and they added their round two pick

R1P16 CB Jaycee Horn I like Surtain better but some people have us taking Horn at 10. He reminds me a little of Richard Sherman.

R2P12 S Tre'Von Moehrig The only safety in the draft with a starting grade on the NFL big board.

R2P17 (from the Cardinals) Edge Payton Turner He recently moved up to the second round on NFL.com and is a great prospect. Only played five games last year but averaged a sack per game and over two tackles for loss per game.

R3P11 LB Nick Bolton Too small but Great instincts.

R3: P35 WR Tylan Wallace He reconelty lost his starting grade but theyre looking for a deep threat and he ran a sub 4.4 40 and and is as competitive as they get. His first play in this video reminds me of Deebo Samuel of the 49s.

R4P10 DT Marvin Wilson Nose tackle with some rush ability. Playing through a Knee injury last year may cause him to fall.

R4P33 G/T Jaylon Moore He moved up the rankings this week right behind Brown and Radunz and could fill in at guard or tackle with eventual starting potential.

R5P8 DT Bobby Brown He moved up the big board this week. He's still learning the position but could be good against the run with rush potential.

Bobby Brown III Draft and Combine Prospect Profile | NFL.com

R6P8 RB Chuba Hubbard Fits our blocking scheme with the quicks to take it to the house.

I think Bobby Brown & Chuba Hubbard you can move up and slide Jaylin Moore down. Good solid draft

I like it but there is no way Moehrig makes to Rd 2, pick 12. I don’t think even Grant will be there by then. You’ll have to take Moehrig at 16 and Stokes in rd 2

But you can't blame me for taking him since he was there. He's ranked 32nd overall on the big board I used so I wouldn't reach for him at 16 but would probably take one the next guys on my board if he wasn't there at 44. I've said this before but I'm a big fan of drafting value, it's even better when value meets need.

I like this draft.

I will say this, I don't understand all the predictions of the Cowboys drafting Hubbard. That will never happen. Never.

Was reading an interesting article that unlike Nolan with his pre-set defensive complex plays, Richard Sherman seemed to say that Quinn prefers to play schemes that best suits the players he has.....refreshing.

If that's the case I wonder if the question of most interest isnt which of the CB's we draft, rather, which combination of CB and FS we can draft that works as a secondary unit?

Do you have a link to the article? I'd like to read it.

Not crazy
:flagwave:
i like several the players
fwiw....we’d have to throw in pick 99 for your trade to have a chance

The draft simulator offered that one so I accepted it. I'm sure the trades are quite a bit easier on the simulators than the real thing.

Love the draft. If it’s me, I’m probably looking for an OT or OC in their somewhere, maybe in place Turner as this draft seems to run deep at OT, and I’m looking for a Mark N’Zocha or Kyle Wilbur type ST linebacker later in the draft to go with Bolton.

Okla st OL helped Hubbard alot
Thats a good point. As i was watching the Tylan Wallace highlights, i couldnt help but notice all the time his QB had to throw the ball. So yeah... that OL definitely helped the RB as well.

My first mock drafted Liam Eichenberg from Notre Dame at 44. My thinking has changed on this since then. He is a little better than than Moore but he's not Tyron Smith you'd have to get one in round one for that. The third tier rankings are very close anyway and then you rob yourself of a possible starter on defense.

Liam Eichenberg 6.27
Stone Forsythe 6.27
Sam Cosmi 6.26
Dillon Radunz 6.25
Spencer Brown 6.25
Jaylon Moore 6.23
Walker Little 6.2
