Cause if there's one thing "DakPresgoat" just can't stand it's an overpaid player who under produces.

Lol. You can do better Risen. For his first 5 years in the league, Dak has been extremely underpaid relative to his production.

Now if you want to whine going forward now that he has a new deal (which I’m sure you will) that’s different.

but argue Dak has been overpaid up to this point in his career?

LOL come on man. You can come up with something better than that.

If we wanna talk about overpaid players in the league...... we can talk about the eagles cap situation right now. And a certain overpaid relative to production player, If you want.

When it’s brought to a Cowboys forum, it’s open for comment. And when it’s about two overpaid underachievers, criticism is warranted and should be expected.

It’s great that they’re such rich buddies, too bad winning wasn’t more important.
Yeah I guess different minds operate differently. No matter how much a guy sucked I don’t think I’d ever have the urge to criticize him on a personal non-football story like this. Especially if I’ve piled on him for years. Just seems like so much negative energy dedicated to a guy I don’t even know. Seems tiring.

It’s not Crawford’s fault that the Dallas FO gave him that money. It’s not like they were going to spend it on a better free agent.

Some of y'all are pathetic. This isn't about Tyrone's performance, it's about two players who have worked very hard for this organization (even if you don't think their play was up to par) and been career Cowboys that share a special bond. I really don't get why some of y'all are "fans", you just constantly dump on everything and everyone involved with the team. Is it even fun for you to be a fan? I'm sure you're all at the top of your fields and don't have a very low ceiling in life.

I hear you. The name is just a sore subject based on disappointment and millions wasted.

Screw that @Bowdown27 let it flow man

Crawford was an overpaid guy who barely produced relative to his pay and the fact that he was for some dumb reason, untouchable.

dude just collected a paycheck for nothing the last 2 years.

I’m glad he is gone.

That’s great that him and D law are friends. No worries there. But I couldn’t care less about their buddy story. These are the same dudes who call themselves the hot Boyz while accomplishing Jack squat in the league.

That carry yourself somewhere else if you can care less.

All because he was never good enough to establish himself at one position. The retroactive sugar-coating is nauseating.

Nah, more like bc the FO could not get decent depth at DE for years.

Crawford was a 3T, should have never been on the outside.

But not better than rookie Malik Collins - at the position he was overpaid millions to play.

They made a mistake, quickly reworked the contract and got stuck, and proceeded to try to play a 3-4 DE in a 4-3 defense.

And all parties failed miserably.

Exactly. I don't think he was a great player, but all the criticism in this thread has been said a million times.

I think they should have moved on. I said it a million times.

Not Crawford's fault, though. I feel he always played to the best of his limited ability.

Why is valid criticism hatred? The NFL is a business about winning. Maybe the country club atmosphere where everybody is buddies is the reason why the team hasn’t won anything in over 25 years? We’re too busy polishing participation trophies.
A few guys around here are awfully sensitive about any criticism directed at the team. I'd name them but we all know who they are. It's the usual message of trying to tell everyone else how to be a fan because they disagree with comments suggesting how the team needs to get better. If these guys want to unconditionally love the team or a player, fine but there really isn't too many true haters on this board. I expect us to be 7-9, 8-8 or 9-7 this year and if that makes me a hater, so be it...

I don’t disagree with that. The frustrating part is that the ‘ability’ wasn’t very good.

He was a solid DT. Overpaid, upgradable? Yes, but solid.

+ the Cowboys did him no favors moving him from DT to DE a million times.

Solid at stopping the run, bad at rushing the passer, overpaid and oft injured.

Some people can’t handle criticism, either personally or when it’s directed at their favorite team.
