to be fair DLaw saw a lot of double teams when people around here were literally crying that he needs more sacks. These same people never cared about defensive pressures, tackles, pursuit, effort, nothing. Just sacks and contract.

edit: part of my point was that I don't see Crawford doing much for DLAW come gametime when they have to line up, hardly anyone was taking double teams away from dlaw
If you watch the stunts ran most of the time were run with D law and Crawford when Healthy with D law benefiting, it's been talked about .

You serious or sarcastic? Tyrone crawford did nothing.

There's an article on the DMN by Kristi Scales who's on the sidelines of every game that speaks to this very issue. Maybe you should read it.

When an NFL footfall player fails to be awesome, it doesn't mean he didn't try his best. If he gets injured, it doesn't mean he wanted some time off. Crawford didn't deliberately attempt to frustrate Cowboy fans. If he was overpaid and failed to perform up to some standard, it's not his fault, nobody would turn down the money and tell the owner "No thanks, I'm not good enough". Blame management, not the player.

Tyrone Crawford was a Dallas Cowboy, we may be disappointed with his career but do we have to hate him? Do we have to exaggerate and say he did nothing? He had five solid seasons in his 8 year career, above the average for D-linemen drafted in the middle of the third round.

Tyrone was drafted in the 3rd round, #81 overall. Since 2000 there has been 41 D-linemen drafted between #75 and #85 overall. Among these D-linemen drafted in the same range, Tyrone ranks 8th in games started, 4th in sacks, and 6th in tackles for losses. He ranks 3rd among these players in QB hits.

Not every player is going to the Hall of Fame. The average career in the NFL is three and a half seasons. Crawford was an above average player, during some seasons he was really good.

Let's wish him the best.

Crawford should have been cut last year or the year before. That should not take away from the role he played on this team before that. We essentially have tried to replace him as a starter for years either at 3-tech or end and no one we have brought in was able to do it. It isn't Crawford's fault that he was not great. But those who think he was not good, that he wasn't a solid NFL player just have a bone to pick because he was overpaid. There are a lot of players who fall into that category.

actually you don't know what you're talking about, Crawford was the player that did a lot of the dirty work that allowed DLaw to be productive, that's been mentioned by folks around the organization.
People hate on Noah Brown for the same reasons.

Lol....man crying over another man's money....always fun.

Lol. Saying one thing in one post and then the opposite a few posts later. ‘Always fun’ as well. Just take the ‘L’ and move on already.

If anybody’s “crying” it’s people who can’t handle valid criticism of a monumental team mistake on a grossly overpaid player.

I looked that over but couldn’t find a specific timeline for Irvin’s hijinks?
Right when he came in.
You, of all people, know how to connect dots.
And it even says specifically that he was a rook in the article.

I looked through it again and there simply isn’t a direct mention of the specific year when they started up things at the White House.

When was Michael Irvin a rook?

1988.

When did Alvin Harper (who’s name they state the house was in) even ENTER THE LEAGUE? 1991.

It’s clear you’re misreading something that isn’t there.
