The video of d Smith cooking Horn is concerning

Great video. Seeing Horn adapt and develop gets me excited, tells me he has that "want to" to become great.

I don't usually watch interviews, but Horn comes across as a mature, driven, down to Earth person. I see no reason why he wouldn't be able to keep learning and growing as a pro.

Horn only allowed one receiver over 65 yards all season and it was Smith.

Literally any game from last year. Auburn? Florida?

Horn gave up 3 TDs and had 5 penalties in just 7 games last year, or is this when we trot out the “but he didn’t have the same surrounding talent as Surtain” excuse.

What other good receiver did he play? Seth Williams is slow and got shut down by ever good nfl caliber cb so dont say him. Surtain and Stokes played the best and performed the best vs the best. Thats just facts. I'm not saying Horn wouldnt have played them well this year too but he played only Seth Williams. Smith vs Horn was 2019

Plus I love physical corners
Then you’d love Horn. His game has very little to not love about it.

Wide receivers absolutely hate going against him.

I really like Surtain too, but I’ve been leaning closer and closer to Horn lately. Ultimately, I think they’ll both be great pro’s... but Horns competitive fire might push him to the top of my list.

If you watch the first 60 seconds of that video, he lists all the guys he’s covered in college. It’s a long list.

Yeah, once a guy kind of has it figured out, then it all becomes easier for them. IMO Horn now better understands the kind of style that he needs to play.

‘And for me personally, I like that kind of CB play... and receivers hate it.

Do you guys think fairley can run with t hill?
No I don’t. Maybe in a straight line (though I find that doubtful)... but certainly not when Hill starts making those insane cuts. Being tall does a corner no favors against guys like Hill.

It’s why defenses have to stop Hill with scheming and more than one guy. Rarely does anyone just man up on Hill and try to cover him alone. It’s dumb.

I havent watched the video but does he show Horn vs someone other than Pitts, Smith and Seth Williams? Because thats all People show to prop him up that I've seen

Guys felt that way about Steve smith, butt t Newman locked him up twice.

If I remember correctly, he does. It really is a great video. The guy knows what he’s talking about.

I know it shows Horn against Jerry Jeudy (messing up)... the video mainly talks about the things Horn has done to improve in coverage since Alabama and Smith ate him up in that 2019 game.

It shows where he messed up as a sophomore and how he improved as a junior.

If you have 18 min to spare, I’d recommend it.

As good as hill is, if you take away the deep catches, he’s human. He’s good at other things, but the deep ball makes him special.

Yeah yuu clearly see the improvement t in hand placement.

If someone can get the jam on hill, they can stop him. I’ve seen guys as quick as him before, Steve smith, s moss. Neither was as fast, but are definitely as quick.

People are so misinformed.

Do folks actually think Surtain never had snaps against Pitts, or under the impression that Horn supposedly traveled and covered Pitts all game?

AJ Brown (Titans)
Kyle Pitts
DeVonte Smith
Jalen Waddle
Jerry Keudy
Henry Ruggs
Elijah Moore
Diami Brown
Justin Ross
Kordell Powell
Josh Palmer
Trevon Grimes
Van Jefferson
Terrence Marshall Jr.

Those are *some* of the guys he names who Horn covers in College, not all. He also said his list wasn’t complete but just the guys that he could think of.

If you think we’re drafting a corner in 2021 that doesn’t give up plays all the time then prepare yourself for disappointment.

That’s why it’s a stupid position to target early in the draft and we should be looking at Jaelen Phillips.

Neither of those things are true.

Surtain is a hell of a player and built to handle guys like Pitts.
