Just read an article on the Athletic, which I cannot post, but it was from Bob McGinn breaking down the positional group.
Been saying for awhile, Barmore is only being considered a 1st rd pick cause of the lack of talent at the position, showing up late and the helmet he wears. If he was so good, why was he playing half of the snaps? He is not like some of the former Bama players at the position. In my opinion, a 2nd rd talent with upside, similar to Davis from the Chiefs.
What do we have after him?
Onzuk (opt out), Nixon (1 yr wonder with character concerns), Tufele (another opt out that needs work), Wilson (coming off of a terrible yr, always hurt), Togiai (1 yr of production/tweener), Milton Williams (workout warrior, who couldn't dominate, low level competition)
It's an awful class, without any stars whatsoever. Personally, I really like McNeal, but not until rd 3 at the earliest. Hope this team doesn't reach to fill a need. I much rather take an inside/outside DE and look to add a 1T on day 3.
