....maybe it’s the liquor talking, but I would love (of Cavanaugh’s DOOMSDAY scenario happens) to trade down with Miami or Chicago for an extra 2 and grab Barmore in 1, the best CB/S combo with my 2 2’s, the best Edge guy left @ 75, and grab Bobby Brown at 99. The D should be set for awhile.

I'm a fan, and I would not mind taking an LB Collins or Bolton on top of your choices in the early 2nd by trading away next years first. Loading up double on the draft, in a single year would reap HUGE dividends for winning now. The Cowboys were bit by the injury bug in a major way along the O-line and Dak. A healthy return of those superstars makes it an unfair advantage this year.

Barmore
Collins or Bolton
Grant
Joseph
Ardarius Washington

That haul would be so worth it! Toss in a Tevin Jenkins somehow, that's worth it too.

that'd be a helluva dt combo.
a de like quincy roche,miami...dayo odeyginbo, vandy or patrick jones,pitt...thats not even fair.

Swap your DE for Alim McNeil at 75 and I could easily go for that.
Barmore, Gallimore and Watkins at 3T with McNeil, Brown, and Woods would be a pretty solid DT group if coached up for sure.
Dallas would have turned a weakness into a strength.

I like that better, but don't think we'd need to go with Brown at 99 if we got McNeill. I'd probably go linebacker with the other third-round pick.

Yes, but Brown and McNeil would lessen the loss of AWoods next year or at least limit his asking price.
And while I do think you need a LB, I am not sure what Quinn can do with the ones he already has. Smith, LVE, Neal, Gifford, Bernard, Kamara are already legit --- if they fit the scheme and can be coached up a little.

I'm not necessarily opposed to it, but Brown, McNeill and Woods are all seen as two-down players, although Alim might be more than that. It's hard to carry more than two of those are most, although drafting McNeill and Brown would possibly result in Woods being cut or traded for scraps.
