Moehrig will be gone between 20-25 because other teams understand the importance of a true FS

I think he could be there at the top of rd 2, but will come off right away. Cowboys would need to trade up.

I like Collins more than most, but the available talent at safety is far less than it is at linebacker.

Moehrig. I concur with others that Collins is not really a fit. I still wonder whether the Collins rumors began before Quinn was named defensive coordinator. I do think Collins could play SAM, but that would make him a part-time player, as others have mentioned.

I look for them to wait at LB and take a guy like Fields or Barnes. Maybe Wallow. If earlier, Bolton.

-Already wrote a post hoping the Cowboys stay away from Collins. Not to say he is going to be a bad player, just don't like his fit with the Cowboys.

-Think Moehrig on the other hand is an excellent fit for what Quinn wants with his Free Safety. Add in the position is 3-4 deep with a huge drop-off, this is the direction I hope they would take.

The dreaded word "fit" caused this organization to take that bum Taco over TJ Watt.

I think the Cowboys like Collins more. But I also think they know Moehrig is more important to Quinns scheme. I think Moehrig is the more likely one to end up in Dallas

I don’t see how. He’s not going at 10 and doubtful he lasts until 44

Both these prospects could be either trade back or trade up targets as I hear the Cowboys love both of them. If we do see a trade, there is a strong chance one of these two will be the selection. Which prospect would you want out of the two?

Still believe they stay in and make a pick at 10, but if either prospect is there at the start of day 2, you can bet the Cowboys will try to land one.

Jamar Johnson is a much better Safety than Moehrig and a better fit for what we need on Defense.

There is the big three, if two are already gone, that might be the time to see if they can move up with Molden as a backup plan (Moehrig, Grant, Holland). Believe Holland is one of their primary targets on day 2.

Yea I'd stay put if all 3 are on the board. I HATE Molden in the 2nd so hope they don't go that route.

Similar to 10, I really think a stud will fall to 44 so hoping we don't hone in on 1 position.

No, definitely not locking in on safety at 44, but it's in the conversation. It will depend who falls.
