Well, here we are. Draft Eve. Thus, my final mock draft of 2021. This will also be a no trade mock. With that, here we go. You know how I normally do these by now.

1 (10). CB Jaycee Horn South Carolina


6'1" and 205 lbs. The player that I think is widely expected to be selected by us. Horn is a large, athletic defensive back who plays aggressive football. He displayed tremendous development in his game last season and has all the necessary tools to develop into a No. 1 cornerback on Sundays (PFN).

2 (44). S Richie Grant UCF


6'0" and 194 lbs. Grant is a solid safety in all aspects of the position and is effective covering the pass or defending the run. He comes with average size as well as speed, but he could line up in dime packages or as a traditional strong safety (PFN).

3 (75). OT Liam Eichenburg Notre Dame


6'6" and 302 lbs. Given the injuries to Tyron and La'el Collins last year. Tyron has been getting hurt a lot lately, and we've had great success with olinemen from Notre Dame. Good fit for us. As for the player himself, here's some analysis from PFN. Eichenberg is an imposing offensive lineman who gets the most from his ability and plays intelligent, intense football. He was productive and durable for Notre Dame and comes with growth potential. Additionally, he's a powerful run blocker.

3 (99). DT Tyler Shelvin LSU


6'3" and 346 lbs. From PFN: Shelvin is a traditional two-gap nose tackle whose size, power, and ability to consistently get leverage on opponents gives him the upper hand. He may be a little bit too large at this point and must adhere to year-round conditioning, but if he’s focused on football, Shelvin will have a long and productive career in the NFL.

4 (115). DE Elerson Smith Northern Iowa


6'6" and 252 lbs. From PFN: Smith is an athletic pass rusher who came to the Senior Bowl bigger as well as stronger and had three good days of practice. He's developing into a defensive end in a four-man line and comes with both growth potential and upside. Smith could be a pass-rush specialist early in his NFL career and eventually develop into a starter.

I'd normally agree, but Schwartz is just too fast to pass up imo. He's got 4.2 speed. If he even touches the ball, he's liable to take it the distance. Given the weapons we already have, defences would have no chance at covering him.

While I want to add a free safety, I prefer adding Andre Cisco a bit later but I wouldn’t complain about Grant either.

Walker Little is my pet cat at that spot at OT. Having said that, the team probably prefers your choice.

Shelvin or Bobby Brown III have been my ‘big’ defensive tackles but I’ve tried to pair them with a pass rushing DT as well. Jaylen Twyman is a favorite.

Good work! Like your top 4, but don't see a player like Shelvin in their plans. They are looking more at tweeners, then traditional 3-4 NT's.
