I think he could be there at the top of rd 2, but will come off right away. Cowboys would need to trade up.As usual we “prioritize “ FS a round too low. Meaning we don’t prioritize it
Moehrig will be gone between 20-25 because other teams understand the importance of a true FS
Rather do a small trade up, then move away from a top prospect.Trade back and then take Moehrig
It will be interesting!Rather do a small trade up, then move away from a top prospect.
The dreaded word "fit" caused this organization to take that bum Taco over TJ Watt.-Already wrote a post hoping the Cowboys stay away from Collins. Not to say he is going to be a bad player, just don't like his fit with the Cowboys.
-Think Moehrig on the other hand is an excellent fit for what Quinn wants with his Free Safety. Add in the position is 3-4 deep with a huge drop-off, this is the direction I hope they would take.
We got nothing at free safety outside of a player on a 1yr deal who is coming off major injuryThe dreaded word "fit" caused this organization to take that bum Taco over TJ Watt.
I am on the Collins train here.
The worst lower body injury an NFL player can have outside of shark attack. We got nothing at free safety outside of a player on a 1yr deal who is coming off major injury
I don’t see how. He’s not going at 10 and doubtful he lasts until 44I think the Cowboys like Collins more. But I also think they know Moehrig is more important to Quinns scheme. I think Moehrig is the more likely one to end up in Dallas
Jamar Johnson is a much better Safety than Moehrig and a better fit for what we need on Defense. Both these prospects could be either trade back or trade up targets as I hear the Cowboys love both of them. If we do see a trade, there is a strong chance one of these two will be the selection. Which prospect would you want out of the two?

Still believe they stay in and make a pick at 10, but if either prospect is there at the start of day 2, you can bet the Cowboys will try to land one.

Jamar Johnson can be had in the 2nd as a steal.
Nah, that's Moehrig you're talking about.Johnson is the worst tackler in the entire draft and is one of a one yr wonder.

There is the big three, if two are already gone, that might be the time to see if they can move up with Molden as a backup plan (Moehrig, Grant, Holland). Believe Holland is one of their primary targets on day 2.If he's sitting there at the top of the 2nd, along with Holland/Grant would you trade up? I like Moehrig better but not sure enough where I feel like I need to move and lose a pick.

No, definitely not locking in on safety at 44, but it's in the conversation. It will depend who falls.Yea I'd stay put if all 3 are on the board. I HATE Molden in the 2nd so hope they don't go that route.
Similar to 10, I really think a stud will fall to 44 so hoping we don't hone in on 1 position.
I'd be open to moving up but it would have to be a STUD.
