Trade with Oakland - 10/138 for 17/48

Surtain and Slater both available at 10 - but liked the trade down here.

17. Christian Barmore - DT - Alabama
44. Trevon Moehrig - S - TCU
48. Teven Jenkins - OT - OK st. (I struggled on who to take first here, but worked out!)
75. Jabril Cox - LB - LSU
99. Paulson Adebo - CB - Wisc
115. Tyler Shelvin - DT - LSU
179. Shaka Toney - DE - PSU
192. Kary Vincent Jr. - CB - LSU
227. Deommodore Lenoir - CB - Oregon
238. Sam Ehlinger - QB - Texas

I will personally travel to everyone's house - buys drinks at your nearest bar, with everyone on here if we somehow came away with this draft. Just remember me if I ask for a new a particular organ transplant.

New DTs - locked up for years to come - would lessen need for top rated CB's.
A freaking actual, came changing S that would line up next year...head exploding!
A nasty, mean Oline - can take LG next year or T if injuries occur.
Starting outside LB, would replace Smith if he doesn't produce outside next year.
Very talented DE - that just needs to get more consistent.
CB depth where either Adebo or Vincent Jr. could start opposite outside next year.
Back up QB - high character kid, who will work his butt off to be successful.

some rumor mill...Moehrig won't make it past WFT...don't think he will last to 44

I really like Moehrig, and Jenkins and really don’t like Barmore and Cox.

I’d rather:

JOK
Moehrig
Jenkins
Milton Williams

with the first 4 picks.

Need speed wr/return guy.

Well don't tell that to the PFN simulator!! I would prefer I get to keep mocking these unrealistic drafts so I can feel good about it, and the get irrationally upset with the players I want get drafted WAY ahead of where I want to take them :)

Though I love the optimism, I think Moehrig goes higher than most think. I don't think he gets past 25.

Need speed wr/return guy.

You can find a return guy in FA off the scrap heap. With the rules in place, the return game is not as important as it once was as most kick offs are touch backs.

Further, Lamb can return punts and you can bring in another guy in FA to also help return punts.

If the Cowboys want to throw a 6th or 7th round pick at a speed guy or return guy, fine. But I wouldn't waste a pick before the 4th round on another WR or kick returner. Not with the other needs this team has.
