I havent studied him at all..I didnt think we would entertain him

Does anyone have any good videos they recommend on Parsons?

He is good in the running game and blitzer, but no so good in coverage

You have to give this an A. I think they drafted a pro bowl quality player and picked up another top100 pick. Very well done.

Great player on the field.

Good value in trade down, despite helping NFC East foe get their guy.

Attitude and character concerns are significant, and Jerry's enabling won't be great for him. Think combination of Dez Bryant and Jaylon Smith. Maturity issues are as bad as I've seen in a top prospect.

We have approx. $17M in 20201 cap room tied up in 3 LBs and the NFL is no longer a 3-LB league, so flies in the face of Cowboys claiming they are "heavy into analytics".

Again, in the field, this kid is a monster. His presence also lays the groundwork to easily move on from Jaylon and LVE after this year.

Have to nail pick 44, desperately need a CB.

Absolute and utter steal. Perennial pro bowler. Best D player on the field.

And they could cut Smith or not extend LVE's option...

Like it, dislike it, indifferent?

It forces one to answer the question:

Who’s the bust?

Who’s the player they wasted significant investment in?

#34 overall pick Jaylon Smith? He of the huge second contract?

2018 1st round pick Leighton Vander Esch?

Or Parsons himself?

Which of these three huge investments is not on the field enough to justify the cost?

It’s going to be one of them because this league no longer plays a game where you line up three linebackers a large percentage of the time.

And I don’t even have to mention Keanu Neal fo I? Reportedly set to play weak side linebacker?

So the Cowboys can NEVER get the return on investment from what they’ve put into the position.

I don’t hate the player, I hate poor decision making.

Easy answer here...it's moving on from Jaylon or LVE.

Every team misses on picks...let's move along.
