Important thing is to get 3 starters out of the first 3 rounds, yes I know we have 5 picks, but if we come out of tonight with 3 legit starters especially on defense, We have done ourselves well. here's who I would target.

at #44, We must get one of these guys, once and for all solidify the FS position

Trevon Moehrig S TCU
Jevon Holland S Oregon
Richie Grant S UCF

3rd round we need to get at least 2 of these guys

Kelvin Joseph CB Kentucky
Elijah Molden CB Washington
Tyson Campbell CB Georgia
Ifeatu Melifonwu CB Syracuse

Marvin Wilson DT FSU (Pet Cat)
Milton Williams DT Louisiana Tech
Alim McNeill DT North Carolina St.
Daviyon Nixon DT Iowa

Bonus

Joseph Ossai DE Texas
Anthony Schwartz WR Auburn
James Hudson T Cincinnati
Trey Sermon RB OSU

I think offensive lineman are in play.

Alabama Center is still available?

Some of these tackles that are still available are legit prospects with position flex to play guard like Jenkins.

Forsythe from Florida?

There is some quality Offensive Lineman here.

Dickerson from Bama would be like getting Frederick back.

It’s going to be interesting to see how the Cowboys rate these DTs. It’s also going to be interesting if the Cowboys see any real drop off from the 2/3 round guys vs the later round guys.

I think the safety class is somewhat weak. A lack of first round safeties seems to support that. I wouldn’t force that pick.

Is a rookie CB going to be any better than Lewis? IDK but probably not. More upside, but not an instant starter. Maybe the Tulsa corner from last year is our secret weapon. Who knows.

Draft BPA all the way. Fill in the holes after teams make room for rookies after cutting vets. The result will be much better than forcing picks that will bust.

I hope we don’t force a pick. Stick to our board. It will be OK.

i say package up some of the 4ths/5th/6th and move up as much as we can in the 3rd....would love to see a 2nd and 4 3rds....call it a draft with 6 starters and let them sift through the scraps tomorrow.

I could see some trade ups in the 3rd or 4th rounds. The talent level is going to drop somewhere around the 3rd or 4th round, significantly.

Expecting 3 starters out of the first 3 rounds seems unrealistic. The cowboys have extra picks so it’s possible, but after round 1 you’re drafting projects.

I see very few players right now that would start day 1, most likely we have depth/rotational/sub package pieces that may have a chance to start as the year goes on.

One OL that I like is Walker Little from Stanford but in the 3rd. If we can get him in the 4th even better

One of Barmore (preferably), Holland/Moehrig/Grant or Jenkins with their first pick.

Sign a vet CB for a year or see who is there at 75, 84 or 99.

I think we have to go CB at #44 or we are running a massive risk. Once you get past the top 8 guys, there's a dropoff.

Only way around that is to package two 3's and move back up which would be a bit of a bummer.

Kelvin Joseph is probably the closest comp to Horn/Surtain quite frankly at this stage.

I agree with your names. But I believe some of the guys(CB) you have as 3rd round targets will be in play in the 2nd round.

I know they are really high on Elijah Molden , he a FS/Slot Corner in their eyes. Great Value

I would not say there is a massive drop off. More like scheme fit at this point. After Horn nd Surtain were taken, the drop off from other corners are fairly close. Now it about finding the correct corner for your scheme. St jude is a guy I would assume they can snatch in the 4th. Good Scheme fit in my opinion.
