JOK, Moehrig, Barmore

JOK would make sense if we didn't already have two good players in the same position (ss)

Now I just can understand why we would pick him

In a vacuum, having JOK fall to you at 44 would be a homerun............. if we had taken a CB or DL in the first.

But I can't invest another premium pick in a guy that's going to play close to the line, even one as talented as JOK.

I much rather stay at 44 and keep all three of the 3rd round picks.

Even if Moehrig is gone you have Grant, Washington and a few other FS.

I like Levi, Wilson, McNeil and some others over Barmore.

And if JOK makes it to 44 I'm taking him. He can play LB and safety plus if Leighton is gone plus Jaylon in a year or so you have 2 really good LBs going into the future. That's not including losing Lee and needing to replace him. Plus who knows if Neal is back to form or can play LB

Moehrig. Yes.

The other two. No.

I can't trade up for another LB type in JOK after we just took Parsons.

i'd be fine w/ jok. he's too awesome. would be weird/crowded along with parsons, neal and kazee though. but with the state of this defense i'm not mad at having to figure out talent

No.

First of all, we have a lot of needs & sacrificing one position for another doesn't sound great to me.

Moehrig has comparable value to Grant & Holland on my board, so you might as well sit & let one fall to you.

JOK... I know everyone loves him, but personally didn't have him as a first round value, so I was surprised when the NFL agreed with me over the groupthink. That being said, he's being projected as a hybrid LB/safety, so he's not the center field safety we need & he's a luxury pick at LB after adding Parsons.

On one of the recent Draft Shows, Bryan Broaddus was talking about how scouts were telling him that Barmore was a guy that needed to be babysit & that scares the crap out of me.

I'd trade up for JOK in a heartbeat.

I think he can be a game changing SS / nickel WILL. Neal can be the bridge to his role.

He's the 1 player I'd legit move all the way to the top of the 2nd for...as I would've taken him in the top 20.
Seems like he needs to be in a certain scheme, which limits him to certain teams, therefore the drop.

I dont see them dealing up per quote from the kid.

No. There are some good safeties that will be there at 44. Whatever happened to all the Richie Grant love on this board?

I don't know about Barmore. I doubt the Cowboys would trade up for him. They do need help in the middle of the defense but they need CBs. The 1st round could not have turned out worse for Dallas.
