Round 2 - Pick 12 (44) Tyson Campbell - CB Georgia - Another big, physical, man-coverage specialist at corner for the Cowboys in Round 2.

Round 3 - Pick 11 (75) Alim McNeill - DT North Carolina State - McNeill is a pocket-pushing nose tackle who can be disruptive in Dallas right away.

Round 3 - Pick 20 (84) D'Ante Smith - OT East Carolina - Smith has stellar upside at guard or tackle.

Round 3 - Pick 35 (99) Hunter Long - TE Boston College - I know the Cowboys like Blake Jarwin but that doesn't mean they'll ignore the tight end spot all draft.

This is whiat I have for Day 2

2-Tevin Jenkins(6-6,320) OT Oklahoma State
Huge nasty o lineman. Has a mean streak. Good strength 36 reps bench and ran a 4.96 forty. ( Football Comparison- Erik Williams)

3a- Divine Deablo(6-2,225) S Virginia Tech
Big fast safety who will hit you. Ran a 4.45 at 225 lbs. Good athlete good hands. His Name alone is a marketing deal ready to happen .(Football Compariison- Dennis Smith)

3b- Bobby Brown(6-4,325) DT Texas A&M
Big man who ran a 4.9 forty at 325 lbs. Can get after the QB got 6 sacks. Can dominate at times. We need to stop the run and Brown can be that guy.( Football Comparison- Cortez Kennedy)

3c- Marco Wilson(6-0,190) CB Florida
other hyped corners but Wilson is just as good. Any big difference between Wilson vs Greg Newsome who went in the first? Wilson is a solid tackler with good speed 4.37 forty. Practiced daily vs Kadarius Toney,Kyle Pitts, and Trevon Grimes. Faced numerous future pro WRs in the SEC alone and is battle tested.( Football Comparision-James Hasty)

Yeah, I think we should ignore the TE spot. Hunter Long isn't all that much of an upgrade on what we have, if any.

Campbell is raw. You might not be getting a guy that can immediately slide into that other CB spot if that's the goal.

I would like this mock. Would be another year or not getting a premium safety prospect.

but Campbell and McNeill could both be major contributors for the defense.

The TE pick is the one I like the least. Don’t need one in the 3rd. Use that pick to go up for a safety. And this mock is much better.

we can get TE/WR flyers in the 4th and later.

I like Campbell but I am not sure he will be ready to start in September.

I am okay with McNeill but I would have to see who else was available.

I'd say no to D'Ante Smith. To much of a project for 3rd round. Who else was available?

And I'd have to say no to Long at 99. Too early to take a TE in this draft.

This would not be a good draft. But I do see where Dallas needs to go CB at 44.

Only tight end that I would be interested in is Tommy Tremble, and that's because he can play in-line, as an H-back, or be used as a traditional FB. Even then, with the need at safety, if there was one available, and Jaylon Johnson and Andre Cisco were at the time of the selection, I would have gone that route instead of Hunter Long.
