Ive always had the mans back, but doesnt seem that anyone is ever going to stand up and say who is really calling the shots, Jerry loves his scapegoats, and McClay loves his Dallas lifestyle situation.

He was over drafted. You might be able to convince me it was an OK pick. Then it got worse from there. Golston is basically Anae and Armstrong. Then we took a UDFA type in the 3rd round.

Every once in awhile Jerry throws up one of those head scratching drafts. This is looking like one of those times.

There in lies Dallas' issues. The quality of "starter" they seek via free agency, forces them to have to draft superior talent who must start right away. That philosophy of not getting one big free agent starter leads to fan angst when you see the 3rd round unfold as it did last night.

I'm not upset with the Joseph pick BUT, if you are not going to build your team by an infusion premium free agent talent plus an infusion of highly touted draftees, then you leave yourself vulnerable. Not moving around the board yesterday surprised me. They could have used draft capital to get whomever they wanted IMO. Premium quality draftees who happened to slip. But...hey...the Jones boys are far more equipped to run and build a team than I.
