Then they are even more pathetic...I love football but it’s not serious enough for me to wish death on someone for. That’s when it’s time to step away from a pass time and reevaluate life.

So true man.

I mean, how many more dead guys can people expect you to hero worship in your profile pic?

99. Cowboys: Nashon Wright, CB, Oregon State
Grade: D+

Tall, long cornerback who wasn't really on the radar this early. Needs to sit on underneath routes but doesn't have the speed to run with NFL receivers.

It wasn’t an F!!!!!

ESPN slamming our 3rd round picks this morning. 8(
Eh, don't give ESPN too much credit. Anyone with half a brain should be slamming our 3rd round pics. Very well might be the worst round of drafting I've ever seen this team put together.

I’m intrigued by this player. If anyone has any video please post.

He’s playing a lot of man coverage and for a 6’4 he looks really good and fluid doing it. Surprising.

The thing is.. He’s going to be sitting in cover 3 zone with his eyes in the backfield and batting down passes.

Was it a reach? Sure.. But this is a interesting player.

My only worry is the Special Teams coach got to pick a guy because I do get some Pat Watkins vibes. A special teams ace type.. I hope that’s not the case.

But in a cover 3 zone? Can’t wait to watch it play out.

Nice to see some lucid analysis on a questionable pick. Nice work there.

I don’t hate the kid, the player or potential.

There were just about 10 other corners I’d go with. We spent time with Molden, Taylor only to pass on them.

That tells you everything. . . after sitting down with them they choose Nahshon.

And I am sure all others who graded this kid never even heard the sound of his voice.

I believe because of the reasons I listed He will succeed and may even have a higher ceiling based on his drive.

After listening to that audio I came away highly impressed. He sounds like a confident self determined Man

Melifonwu and Molden went with the next two picks. You dont draft Projects in the 3rd. Could have taken him in the 5th or 6th if we liked him and still get Molden or Melifonwu
Every player coming into the NFL is a project . . this isn't an exact science. . . you are dealing with Humans and there are many reasons people fail.

There is a video of someone who is highly optimistic of his future development.

He studied him and he likes what he sees.

Its only one opinion but that opinion says he is not a project as you like to label him

Interesting video. I'm sure it's a fluff piece by the Pac-12. But it says he can be like Sherman or Ramsey if he has the right system.

I doubt it. But some people like him.

Why is this mans opinion not given any weight. . . its apparent that he has followed him

Color me disappointed with the last 3 picks. Might they turn out to be a shockingly nice surprise? Sure hope so but doubt it . . .

Wright is a guy I will throw down the gauntlet for. I think he ends up being a huge get.
He's truly the prototype CB2 in a Cover 1/3 scheme.
Very long player who plays zone technique and attacks the ball.
Very long arms to go with 6'4" so effortlessly high points balls other guys are trying to time out.

Year 1 could be a slow roll but trash agility and bench press numbers are easily improved upon when targeted.

Big-time playmaker with swagger.
