Tony Dixon...
Goodrich, Ross and Edwards ...... bad draft. Throwing numbers at our secondary problemOne more note. This reminds me of the year when we drafted 3 CBs... in rounds 2, 4, and 6... with character-trouble player in the 4th but lots of talk about hope and potential. That draft produced poor results on the field. This draft is feeling like a similar desperate approach
If you want the player that is fine, but dude you could have had him rounds later, why not just trade down or draft BPA.
Cam chancellor v2.0
Quinn built the legion of boom and Quinn went to OSU's proday to see this kid. I will hold judgement and trust in Quinn on this.

Sounds like a great kid . . . student of the game.
Sounds Humble, passionate and Hungry
I like him
it was goodrich larrimore and edwards.Goodrich, Ross and Edwards ...... bad draft. Throwing numbers at our secondary problem
That's fair enough. . . but there is no guarantee he would be there . . . just ask all the teams that were waiting till round 5 to draft himI like alot of people too but I wouldn't draft them to play CB for the Dallas Cowboys until after MAYBE the 4th RD.
Quinn did nothing of the sort
In Seattle everything went through Carroll. He’s the one who built that defense.
its was a collective effort Richard, Quinn, and Carroll all played big roles but since they all split up and players retired where all that genius ion defense from carroll? facts are the Seahawks defense was nearly as bad as ours last year..kudos to the caroll i bow to the genius..Seriously. this narrative that "Quinn built the Legion of Boom".
Quinn was an assistant coach, of the Dline, in Seattle in 2009-2010.
He then left to take a job with Florida 2011-2012, returning as DC in 2013.
Thomas and Chancellor were drafted in 2010, while Quinn was the Dline coach.
Sherman and Maxwell were drafted in 2011, while Quinn was in Florida.
Quinn returned to the Seahawks in 2013 as DC, when they set records and won the super bowl.
Props for coaching a great unit, but he hardly "built" the Legion of Boom.
People lie about that so bad. Quinn came in 2013 after Richard had already worked with Sherman and co. Thats why its funny people give Quinn more credit than Richard when its absolutely false. When seattle started making the playoffs in 2012 Quinn was NOT a seattle coachQuinn did nothing of the sort

Wait, your saying our arm chair GM’s don’t know near as much as they think???Some had a 4th round grade on him so it’s not a certain that he could have been had late. And the teams know a ton more than the media does. There’s a reason that the guys that are talking about the draft are talking about the draft and not actually drafting.
I’m not defending the pick. But for “analysts” to have said they’ve never heard of a guy that was a Power 5 starter shows they don’t put half the time in that the actual scouts do.
