Dez was was cut on April 18 and signed by the Saints in November of 2018. And Dez was cut for various reasons including not getting along with few of his team mates.

Dez was overpaid for the production he provided. I loved Dez when he was at his best, but he declined quickly and needed to go on his lack of ability alone.

How do you know for sure? He may be or he may be not. They said the same thing about Aldon Smith last year.

It won't cost us much to find out. At worst, he can help teach the system during the camp and we can see what he is about without any big financial risk if he is willing to sign for a vet minimum.

I agree here. Bring him in and tell him he MUST earn his playing time and he may be used in a limited role. If he doesn't accept then what have you lost? An old Earl Thomas is better than a young Darian Thompson.

I didn't like him on game day last year, but it was an inordinate amount of injuries. So we'll see what they can do without that.

Garrett was pure garbage for a decade plus.. and Marinelli was a joke on top of it! This today is not that, not even close. You can see a plan, they did a nice job in the draft last year and this year and have a very good group of young players on both sides of the ball. We'll see how that progresses. Just funny one coach gets 13 years of crap with one let down after the other, the other coach gets 1 season while dealing with more injuries than ever before.. through a pandemic. lol Quinn and McCarthy are a night and day difference from the previous dynamic duo. It doesn't get worse than that. And Jerry just let it go on and on..

I know because absolutely no one wants him. Again Aldon Smith was 5 years removed. Aldon Smith's problems were outside of the football locker room. He was not someone who was cut by one of the more respected organizations for being a locker-room disaster. Everything you have seen about him suggests a player you want nowhere near your locker room and nowhere near the football field. The fact that they felt confident enough that they could void his guarantees and win, something that is almost never done, tells you all you need to know about what he would bring to your team.

Why? That is what he was in Seattle when competing for a title. It is what he was in Baltimore when they were competing for at title. Why would he suddenly stop skipping practice, stop ignoring the defensive scheme to give up huge plays, stop getting into fights with teammates, and stop having an attitude that he is better than everyone else? Why would it suddenly change?
