They "tolerated" him two weeks ago.

Should Bohanna surprisingly not make the team or is injured - who then becomes the starting NT ?

I think someone else lines up at RDE and they may start taking Gallimore to Whataburger on a regular basis.

To me this is evidence that they still don't value the position because even if you hit on Bohanna he could twist his ankle week 3 and you have nothing behind him. You'd be forced to play a player out of position or bring in a street free agent to play meaningful snaps for you.

They're going to camp with 10 cornerbacks but 2 nose tackles was just out of the question.

Have you taken a look at some of the other bottom of the roster players on this team? We could’ve cut several players worse than Woods. I don’t think he was going to make the 53 in the end, but I would’ve brought him to camp if for no other reason than injury insurance, Bohanna was going to push him off the roster, but what if he gets hurt. Those two are the only real 1 Techs on the team.

And Quinn has zero ties to Anae and his 32.13 inch arms either. I'm not attacking the player, but there honestly does not appear to be a role for him in the team's new defensive scheme.

1 inch isn't going to stop a high upside guy from staying on the roster and I don't recall seeing any scheme or plays that Quinn is going to run in Dallas. If it's hybrid that's crazy talk to say Anae doesn't have a role

it's still very early. the team could explore another bargain cheap vet player at that position at some later point during the summer.

If he ended up being the starting 1 tech (again), even by injury, then the Cowboys run defense would have been substandard (again).

By that same measure, if Woods "got hurt" that $2.1 million that they just got back would have been guaranteed - and lost. They made the right decision.
