If it were the end of camp, I would agree with this but not before. Hell, you can't even know if you might lose one of those guys to injury or what have you. I mean, why sign him at all if that's the case? Guess we'll see.

Ya i dont get the signing part of it. Woods was probably the best of the JAGs we got but I wont miss him. Maybe they didnt anticipate draft falling the way it did

Armstrong has been here and hasn't done squat. Anae has potential plus an inch isn't going to be the difference of cutting an upside guy that just finished his first year over a guy that isn't better than a rookie they just drafted and has been here a few years.

First of all it's more than 2 inches, and Anae hasn't shown anything to suggest any upside either. Idk the obsession with Anae. He's a 5th-round pick. And it depends what they're going to ask that role to do. It's not going to be a hand-in-the-dirt rusher. Armstrong is much better suited to stack and shed than Anae, and that's where arm length matters. Quinn talked about it, specifically, in his presser.

Golston will make the roster, it's one of the other two that are gone, if not both.

Started 7 games and got injured but, he was one of our better interior run defenders. Now, is that good? That's a fair question but it's the same question you can ask about all of these new guys as well. We signed Watkins from Texas and basham from the Jets. Were those Defenses head and shoulders better then ours?

The team has to get to 90 roster limit , of course Woods had a splendid opportunity late in 2019 to cement his place , may be due to injury or so he was never the same to what he was in 2018 at least, obviously the team thinks they have upgraded position , not to make matters worse , Rookie 6th contract vs Woods contract , no brainer.

It's possible but that doesn't mean we should have released him. Again, this is about making the team better, not making it easier Woods to get a job and possibly help somebody else.

I am sure this is true but that's why you have training camp and three cuts. IDK, this just makes no sense to me. Bad management.

It didn’t cost anything to protect his rights till you see what you got in the draft
