Cox is an excellent tackler. One thing he'll need to do at this level is learn to take on and shed blocks better, but he's got the size and strength to do that. For now, just let him chase down plays in the open field and cover backs and tight ends. This was an excellent pick for Dallas.

Just a few days ago you predicted that the Cowboys would pick up LVE's 5th year option. I responded declaring that "now that Catch17 predicted it would happen, it 100% wont".

And what do you know a day later they notify LVE they ARENT picking up his option.

They are not going to pick up the 5th year option but are going to sign him to a long term extension

Thats another discussion. But the 5th year option was obvious they were never picking it up, even before the draft. If LVE plays WELL this year, then I might give him a short term deal. I say no way they are signing him long term before he plays out the season. The guy has too many injury concerns.
