He made up a story as breaking news. What lie?
What did he lie about though? Obviously there are issues with the Packers and Rogers. He made up a story as breaking news.
How did he answer Patricks question about why on draft day?I listened to that Dan Patrick interview yesterday when he did it.
Schefter was basically saying that nothing happened on draft day when he “broke” the news that Rogers wanted out of Green Bay. It was just accumulated whispers from the end of last season up to the draft.
My question (and Dan Patrick’s) was why on draft day? You’ve had this info since February and you choose the day of the first round to report on it? Why? Do you really need attention that bad? Did a team want it reported on that day? Did Green Bay want to make Rogers look bad on draft day?
I don’t know man… it really doesn’t make sense why he chose to break it on that particular day.
As for the question… No I don’t think he should lose his job for that. What he did doesn’t warrant losing a man’s job. That’s crazy.
Yes, he did. He lied in his first comment. He said they didn't expect to be talking about Rodgers tonight when it was his idea to talk about it. He was implying that he had some breaking news.He never lied lol , it turned out to be true, and it gave them ratings. If anything they even give him a pay raise.
He lied in the very first sentence. It was his idea to bring it up in front of the Packers pick. He lied. What did he lie about though? Obviously there are issues with the Packers and Rogers.
Now if you want to argue about the timing of the news being released, or a lack of sources being provided ill back you up on that, but thats an issue around the entire industry these day.
What are you even talking about? Lol.He lied in the very first sentence. It was his idea to bring it up in front of the Packers pick. He lied.
Go back and listen to what he said. What are you even talking about? Lol.
People have known Rodgers is upset with GB for like two years
I'm not sure I follow. I'm with you in that the timing of the release is sketchy and feels very calculated, but im still not sure what he actually lied about? The Packers and Rogers seem to be headed towards divorce. He lied in the very first sentence. It was his idea to bring it up in front of the Packers pick. He lied.
He really kind of didn’t. He just kept saying that plenty of people have been saying that Aaron wants out of Green Bay. THat they have been saying it since the super bowl and it is known. How did he answer Patricks question about why on draft day?
