Driskel gives the team nothing more than DiNucci, Rush, or Gilbert. So, why waste time and money on him. Signing him would mean cutting either Rush or DiNucci.

The Eagles only have Hurts and Flacco. I think the Packers only have a disgruntled Rodgers and Love. Driskel has some options and is looking to cash out right now. I personally think Driskel would look good in Philly or GB.

There is a little thing that I call "The After Camp Market." After every NFL team has 90 players in camp you can get whose left for dirt ball cheap. If the Cowboys don't replace Cooper Rush in the after camp market, I'll know the FO and staff is full of complete idiots. Rush shouldn't be on anyone's roster, IMO.

Dallas already cut Rush last year when they signed Dalton; and only brought him back to the practice squad to have a spare arm after Dak's injury. The only reason Rush is still here is they need an extra body for camp. I think they believe in Gilbert as the backup and will only sign somebody if he stinks it up in camp. If they signed Driscoll I think Rush would be gone already.
