I really wish Dan Campbell had been the HC choice instead of McCarthy

make him better at X’s and O’s but he is probably going to be the most interesting coach the league has seen since Parcells. Gruden wore off after about a month when the public realized he’s better as an announcer than a head coach.

McCarthy has only been here a year during a pandemic with no mini-camps, no OTA's, shortened training camp and no preseason games.

The TE position has its share of eccentrics. TEs tend to share a certain toughness mentality. Won’t find many soft TEs.

I will predict he will not accept DBs making business decisions on the field. Then again, not like coaches have much choice. Bench a guy who can cover for a CB who can tackle and get torched in the air. Pick your poison.

I think it would be funnier if he got a pet bear. Might drive the Bear fans crazy. Could put a Ditka sweater on the pet lion though for added affect.

My money is on Gronk topping Campbell’s idea of a pet lion. 69% Chance Gronk can top it.

When I heard ‘pet lion’ I thought it was just a cooler way to say ‘pet cat.’ Campbell was going to name one of his draft picks his pet lion.

As I was typing Jack Del Rio’s name, the auto spell correction changed Del to Dak. I do have to admit Jack Dak Rio sounds like a cool name for a character.
