I know it's silly, but no matter how many times my mom says it's okay, I refuse to put my head in a pot of boiling oil....or anything that's boiling for that matter. I guess I just don't want to tempt fate.

I own two black cats that cross my path, my back, and sometimes my chest daily. Might explain my run of luck. I'm not a big superstition guy, but I do have horseshoes hanging over a few doors and I do eat my black eyed peas on New Years.

Karma is real. Most people treat others according to the way they act. So if you act like an idiot you get treated like an idiot. Criminals get treated like criminals. Respectable people get treated with respect. So on and so forth.

Whenever I have to do a pitch: I read my presentation 7 times the evening before and the morning before seven times in front of a mirror.
But I don't worry about Bloody Mary, or the Candy Man.
I drink too many Bloody Mary's to even worry about the Candy Man afterwards.

Yeah, thinking that there is a entity passing out good karma and bad karma is the form of curses and blessings is out there, to me.
