If people want to crown them in June when it's meaningless, go ahead and crown them.

I'm going to wait until the play is for real in the fall. And if they earn it, I'll be more than happy to crown them then. When it actually means something.

No one’s crowning them Karen. Chill. Just speculating on the fact that they might have the best offense in the NFL this year.

Me too. Every Spring we've got "fans" declaring the Cowboys to be the best whatever in the NFL. Then the team falls short of these lofty proclamations and those same fans come back and do it again next Spring. Being delusional doesn't make a person a better or worse fan. It just makes them delusional.

I've been in put-up-or-shut-up mode for a few years now. I've heard/read all of the offseason bluster too many times with no results to show it. Win something involving a trophy.

I think so.

A top offense is capable of of playing decent against good teams with winning records and they are able to play entire games instead just the second half .

I’d put us 3rd-4th with potential to be 1st.

Kansas City and Tampa are still 1-2 for me

The Bucs and Chiefs are both better, imo.

GOAT and baby GOAT are huge advantages, and the Chiefs at least are a more well coached team.

Reread my original post, I don't need to explain further. Don't include the defense or the other team in your thought process.

If I thought your original post was worth a damn I wouldn't have replied to it in the first place, genius. The offense shouldn't have to score points throughout the game to win a game. They should be able to mount a good lead and expect the defense to help them keep that lead. If that can't happen, then you don't have a problem with your offense, the problem is with the defense. I guess that concept is beyond your "thought process".

Bucs..............thats a toss up. I have a feeling the Bucs offense is going to improve with Brady. Cowboys are 2nd or 3rd.

The Cowboys were the #1 offense in 2019.

The Cowboys were the #1 offense after the first 5 games in 2020.

With Dak Prescott on the field, being the #1 offense is not a stretch, it's the norm.

This is quite an ironic post by you E. I remember on the old boards, there was a case one season where Washington beating Philly would have given us sole possession of first place but you rooted against Washington because you "didn't want to hear co-workers bragging to you about a Washington win." Well, it amazes me the person who hates “haters”
so much is throwing out the lofty expectations that will be difficult to meet which will give the haters more ammunition to use.

It’s already not going to be good enough for Dak to return to form, he needs to be better. Zeke doesn’t need to rebound, he needs to lead the league in rushing. The offense can’t just be good, they need to be the best.

These are difficult to achieve, they will be easy for haters to pick on even if the team is doing well, and it will lead to “I told you so” arguments throughout the season.

That’s a really sorry way to look at things, but to each his own.
