5 Mind Blowing Stats!

They also had defensive help and capable coaches....

Valid point... but the narrative keeps showing how great Dak is. If he was REALLY that great he wouldn't need a good defense and capable coaching.

While Prescott is resetting the market for quarterbacks, here are five impressive stats Prescott has accomplished in his career that helped him land his massive contract.

1. Third player with 100+ TD passes and 20+ rush TD in first five seasons
Prescott joined Cam Newton and Jeff Garcia as the only players in NFL history to accomplish this feat. Prescott has thrown for 106 touchdown passes while rushing for 24 touchdowns in just 69 games. Newton threw for 117 touchdowns and rushed for 43 in 78 games while Garcia threw for 113 touchdowns and rushed for 71 in 73 games (the numbers for both quarterbacks through their first five seasons).

Prescott and Daunte Culpepper are the only quarterbacks to have 100+ touchdown passes and 20+ rush touchdowns through their first 69 career games (Culpepper played six seasons before accomplishing the feat).

2. Tied for second-most game-winning drives in first four seasons
Prescott had 14 game-winning drives in his first four seasons, tied with Russell Wilson for the second-most in the NFL since 1970 (AFL-NFL merger). Only Matt Ryan (16) has more game-winning drives in his first four seasons than Prescott and Wilson.

Prescott's 15 game-winning drives are the fifth-most in the NFL since 2016 (his rookie season). Drew Brees, Matthew Stafford, and Derek Carr are tied for the most with 18, while Wilson has 16.

3. Tied for most 100+ passer rating games in first four seasons
Prescott and Russell Wilson had 32 games with a 100+ passer rating after their first four seasons in the league, tied for the most by a quarterback in NFL history. Both are significantly ahead of Dan Marino, Ben Roethlisberger, and Joe Flacco -- all of whom had 25 after four years.

Prescott has 34 career games with a 100+ passer rating through his first 69 games, trailing only Aaron Rodgers (42) and Tony Romo (37) for the most in league history.

4. Cowboys are 31-3 when Prescott has a 100+ passer rating
Prescott finishing with a 100+ passer rating nearly makes the Cowboys unbeatable. Dallas is an astonishing 31-3 when Prescott finishes with a 100+ passer rating in his career, as the .912 win percentage is tied for the second-highest (with Russell Wilson) through a player's first 69 games reaching a 100+ passer rating in league history.

Len Dawson had 32 games with a 100+ passer rating through his first 69 games, going 30-2 in those games (.933 win percentage).

5. Sixth-highest touchdown-to-interception ratio in NFL history
Prescott has a 2.65 touchdown-to-interception ratio in his career, the sixth-highest in NFL history among quarterbacks who qualify (1,500 pass attempts). Only Patrick Mahomes (4.75), Aaron Rodgers (4.58), Russell Wilson (3,27), Tom Brady (3.04), and Deshaun Watson (2.89) are ahead of Prescott.

Prescott is one of five quarterbacks to record 40 or fewer interceptions on at least 1,500 pass attempts (2,293 attempts, 40 interceptions), joining Colin Kaepernick, Brian Hoyer, Deshaun Watson, and Patrick Mahomes.
Excellent

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao2::lmao2:Just listening to the dumbed down logic they come up with is hilarious.

Its like someone just flicked on the light and all the roaches are scattering.

How are you able to see the keyboard with your head so far up Dak's butt?

Valid point... but the narrative keeps showing how great Dak is. If he was REALLY that great he wouldn't need a good defense and capable coaching.

So Tom won it all by himself last year? Then why didn't Mahomes win it all last year. As it surely was not all him the year before either.

Damn, you're right. Give me a second to go look in the trophy case......

Welp, nothing there but cobwebs.
That trophy case pretty much is reflective of his career to this point but I am sure all that money he received will motivate him to try harder as that’s how it works for Cowboys players who get Paid. Give the poor guy 3 more years to show how good he can be you know it takes a while for some to develop and Jerry can extend him as maybe then he will have that SB team to carry Dak.

You forgot a few important stats:

Playoff wins - 1
NFC championship appearances - 0
Super Bowl appearances - 0

Do you remember what happened before Wentz, Goff, and Mahommes all got paid? Thats right, they actually accomplished something more important than personal stat padding.

Yeah those accomplishments really helped Goff and Wentz live up to their contracts. Boy, you make a great argument

Look at how the defenses of the teams Wentz, Goff, and Mahomes performed and then see if the mighty Cowboys defense compares. And look at the coaching staffs. Also, how many NFL teams would build a team around Wentz and Goff before Mahomes or Dak?

Football is a team sport, but whenever Dallas loses a "big game", it's Dak's fault. I guess it has to be in order to keep certain agendas.

player stats vs teams stats don't compare

Why is your mind so blown from this information, Roy?

I figured an avid Dallas Prescotts fan such as yourself would've already known this information. I'm just a regular ole' Dallas Cowboys fan and this information was not new to me.

I didnt write the article. Just posting it for interested Cowboys fans.

I see you are really upset that Dak is so good. Poor guy. Doest it make you angry?

Did you know about all these amazing stats? Doesnt sound like an average QB to me does it?

It is a team sport, so why do some feel the need to shove Dak's personal stats in everyone's face on a daily basis?

I imagine each and every one of us who criticizes Dak would be perfectly happy with his production if he were only getting 200 to 250 yards a game and the team was consistently winning games, including making serious noise in the playoffs.

Stop shoving meaningless stats in our faces that haven't amounted to a damn thing. They're only good for Dak and do nothing for the team.

Some people forget that football is a team game.

They got nothing else. Hilarious to watch them squirm. Dak is a great QB with all the stats to back up how good he is and they go ballistic. Its like someone insulted their mommy and get personally offended.
